Gaudi Residence

To see a place where the designer expresses his vision is remarkable ! It is visually exciting as well exceptionally unique! Worth the time and effort! His Cathedral design and final project was also well worth the trip.

Our guide Sergio treated us not like clients but as friends clearly explained everything and showed us everything Gaudi this was a birthday trip we arrived early to spend time in Barcelona we need a another trip here to see the Picasso museum as well

Nice apartment, very big and with a lot of space. Showers are not perfectly clean but enough. Great value for money, great location in the center. Nearby supermarket and many restaurants. Proximity to public transportation.

We visited his first house in Barcelona we decided to have the guided tour it was very informative and a great insight into his thinking at the time had a glimpse of his life in the late 1800’s befire he left and went onto other things

End of January we stayed in this place, which was prepaid- charged not the lowest price, but delivered the lowest attitude towards to us. My uploaded pictures talk for themselves. We have required a cleaner- turned up very late in the evening and the cleaning lady said she will return on a next day- which never happened- apart the ripped towel disappeared. I cleaned the apartment and reached out to Booking.com as office wouldn’t answer my email or phone calls. Totally ignored our concerns. The tv unit were falling apart, hair in between the cutlery section, unwashed glasses and worn down floors. However, the advertisement looked amazing! Location is spot on, but the whole place is neglected. Felt very unhygienic- because it was! We have agreed on the check in- that we leave the key behind in the apartment. So as we have followed the protocol- until the apartment block main door/gate was locked. We tried to call the lady/ Mira, only thing she has said it’s impossible and hung up the phone! We tried to call Her and no reply. In that point we were panicking to reach the flight- as the next one would be on a next day and it’s cause us a domino effect! People pass by we start asking for help to open the door or ring the police we are stuck here last 45 minutes at least. A gentleman rang Mira’s number - but got the same answer. After a long while when nearly the whole street got involved somebody arrived to the apartment. Acted aggressively and intimidating. We had to get a taxi, which cost us extra again! No reply since! Not even apologetic email! My advice- for that price - stay away from the whole charm apartment and Gaudí residence- it’s definitely own by a shady person. Otherwise you like to stay in a dump for a price of a descent hotel!
