everything was in order and in perfect harmony. Above of all we quite enjoyed the beach and pool areas respectively. The restaurants were of a great quality and staff members were extremely polite and friendly. I d recommend this hotel to anyone. One con- Russians

Stayed from the Nov14th - Nov 21st. 17 people. My first experience in the Dominican 🇩🇴 wasn't the greatest so we chose the Caribbean side this time. The smaller resort atmosphere. Aside from a few room issues at the start ( that were fixed right away) this resort and staff were fantastic. Having the same servers every day looking after your needs (Angle) was a blessing. Anyone with Food allergies are graciously accommodated from the buffet and the allacarts. The cook at the japanese had to change his whole routine and did it flawlessly. All allacarts where excellent. There was always something on the buffet I could find I liked to eat. The beach was clean and the water warm. Snorkeling the artificial reef out front was the best, no need for excursions. We were never bothered by people trying to sell us stuff. And just a pat on the back to Baby Blue, this guy kept the pool clean in the day, and animation team in the afternoon. A hard working young lady that worked tirelessly to make our trip enjoyable. I would recommend this resort for a relaxing vacation. Thank you Iberostar and all your staff.

Poor quality of food. McDonald’s has better quality. Extremely slow and anger staff at the restaurant. Everyone is trying to get advantage from you (eg tips, selling you excursion, fee for changing money). I was planning on relaxing but ended up having arguments and discussion in most interactions. Just spend some extra bucks and go to a proper hotel.

We traveled with family in the beginning of November 2022. I have mentioned much in my previous reviews (and a lot hasn’t changed), so I'll focus this one on any changes we've noticed. We haven't been here in almost 3 years and were very glad to see that mostly all the staff was still employed here, after the pandemic, that we knew from 3 years ago. In general, all the staff was helpful, friendly, and always a pleasure to deal with. The food has become significantly better than the previous visits in terms of taste. We did wish they still did the buffet nights, where every night is a different style but regardless everyone was always able to find something, they loved to eat. We did the Mexican, Steakhouse and Japanese restaurants. The restaurant food has significantly improved in taste as well. The food was very enjoyable. Everyday for during lunchtime they would make a different type of meal on the beach, so it was like a mini show. We stayed in building 3 on the third floor. We opted to pay for an upgrade for a family room (two rooms adjacent to each other), honestly not worth it unless you really need to be right next to each. The rooms are updated but still your standard type of resort room. Flat screen TV, update bathrooms, freshly painted. But that didn’t concern us much considering we came there to be at the beach and relax, not spend time in our room. The resort did have construction going in building 1, 2 and the theater. Work was every day except Sunday from 7am to 10pm. Most of the time you don’t hear it, the resorts have good glass doors that block out the sound in the room. The only time it was annoying is if the kids went to bed early and we sat on the balcony before 10pm. Since the theater is under construction, the nightly entertainment and shows were in the lobby, but as usual the entertainment staff made it super fun. Every night is still a different show, and the white party was our favorite. One difference we noticed is that there is much more staff walking around and taking drink orders. Which was great since you didn’t have to stand at the bar every time. (Pro tip – order 2-3 drinks at once so you don’t have to wait 😉) The Wi-Fi at the resort is now probably the best it has ever been. Had good connection everywhere in the resort, no matter what time of day. No disconnections, no drop offs. Consistent the entire week. We went on a few excursions that we booked right through the Iberostar Services thru Gouff Arsene. Every time he treats everyone like family and has the best prices and is knowledgeable about every excursion. The resort landscaping continues to be the center piece in my eyes. The amount of time spent keeping the landscape neat and clean here it amazing. I want to give a shout out to a few special people – Tony M from Japanese – Tony has been someone we have known since the very first time we visited Hacienda and every time he has nothing but a smile on his face The buffet – Fauri – Also someone we have known since the very first time and she is just awesome, always showing the kids love, always taking care of us. Estefany – Estefany we met the last time we were here, but we couldn’t forget her, always a smile. Femna from the dinner buffet – took care of us almost every night and was very attentive all our needs. Pool Bar – Jesus – the days the beach wasn’t good, we spent at the pool, at the pool bar with Jesus. This guy doesn’t not stop smiling all day long, having a great time. The thing that we loved the most, was how great he was with the kids. Always had a cool drink to make them to enjoy. Alberto – Bell boy – another person that’s always smiling, from when you arrive to when you leave, he will mostly likely be the person you see. We had a bit of an issue with transportation when we were leaving and he spent about 20 minutes running around, making phone calls trying to solve the issue. We have known some of them since the very first time we visited Iberostar Hacienda and it’s nice to see familiar faces and makes this resort feel like home every time. I tell my wife every time, coming here is a vacation but it also feels like you are coming home. Till next time Iberostar!

Text: We have been going to this resort since 2005 and have met many people from all over the world whom we now get together with every November. This year was no exception. The resort is undergoing some renovations and upgrades in their buildings. Overall, we did not have any disruptions with our 2 week stay. The ground crew does an amazing job keeping the grounds beautiful! The addition of koi are breathtaking. The weather was perfect and the water is warm and crystal clear! We were back home again! A huge shout out to Missy Foy and her team for always being there for any issues, problems or just chatting with guests and keeping everything up and running. And to Marcelino who is always everywhere with a smile! Special shout out to the following……. Beach Bar: Alexis, Jesus, Miguel Pool Bar: Morla Lobby Bar: Romana, Madeline, Carlos, Alberto Buffet: Victor, Paulino, fauri, Maria Beach Restaurant: Bernny Luggage: Alberto! The first and last face we always see and has a smile that lights up a room! Will be back again very soon to see our “Family”
