Good stay whilst visiting Cranfield (part time student)

Visited in November 2020 (part-time student). Free on-site parking. Rooms clean with tea and coffee making facility (during the covid outbreak, had to call for fresh towels and brew kit - to stop unnecessary access). Food within Mitchell hall (breakfast and evening meal) - high standard. Cleaning station on entrance and screens between tables etc. Always felt it were clean and within covid compliant - well done. Look forward to my next visit in 2021.

Clean but very noisey

Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Dreadful sleep due to noise from outside with coming and going of students and also noise of TV til late every night. Moved rooms once but the noise was the same in another room but compounded by faulty plumbing.

Spent a night here with a group of people. Mitchell hall is nicely decorated. Staff were polite and courteous, we all arrived at the same time, got our room keys very quickly and check-in went very smoothly. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Meals were well prepared and we had lots of variety. Staff were very organised and both our meals went smoothly. Rooms were comfortable abd clean. Would definitely recommend this place for individual and group visits

Student Accommodation, but with a Twist

Stayed at Mitchell Hall overnight due to business at Woburn. A quick check of accommodation in the area had this as the standout choice, both for price and location. Situated in the centre of a University Campus I had concerns about the room and the surroundings but I was pleasantly surprised. The reception staff were friendly and courteous and checking in was simply done. The room itself was nice, spacious, and though possibly a little basic in decor, it had a comfortable bed and really that’s all that mattered. Noise wise we heard nothing all night and would have had no indication that we were on a campus. Overall very nice and would definitely stay again.

Better than anticipated given some of the reviews

We were greeted on reception by a very pleasant young lady & given our key .. our room was small but perfectly acceptable & the room & adjoining bathroom were spotlessly clean. We had a drink in the bar before our function, & the drinks were very reasonably priced. The only negative feedback would have to be with our experience at Reggies, which is where breakfast was served. It wasn’t clear how the self service restaurant operated & I personally was uncomfortable with how the young man at the till interacted with me as a guest .. (he would have benefited from some customer service training).. oddly some of the food items you were allowed to serve yourself but for others you had to wait for someone to serve you .. unfortunately the food was luke warm & not of good quality.. may be clear instructions to guests about how Reggies operated would have helped ..
