Britannia Hotel Birmingham

Stayed for 1 night (thank god) Did not look anything like the photos. Was cold/dirty and damp, there was even mould on the windows. Would not recommend. There’s not much more to write I believe I’ve made my point pretty clear. AVOID

Lovely to be able to stay here again, and as always the staff all give a great welcome. from manager to housekeeping. Noticed straightaway the high level of safety that has been put in place to protect the guest and the staff. It really hard in the hospitality business to put barriers between people but Britannia has done this in such a way you don't find it awful. Well done to Britannia keeping the staff going, and thank you to all the staff for keeping the guests safe and still smiling throughout each and every difficult shift.

I had booked 2 separate nights some time ago, non refundable, as I was flying from Birmingham, when my holiday was cancelled I telephoned and was told all payments, including non refundable were being refunded. I recieved my refund without any problems. Although i never stayed in the hotel, all the staff i spoke to by telephone were polite helpful and friendly. Thank you.

Oh my god when I checked into this hotel, I must have been mental, wot a bad hole, I got no sleep cause everyone stays up having a rave, I was given my keys went to my room, and theres a cleaner still cleaning my room!!! 👀 😐 I had to wait outside my room for 20 minutes, the whole hotel stinks of weed???, you can hear everything that's going on in the rooms opposite you!! 👀 Dirty rooms broken furniture, phone that don't work, but that probably to stop you ringing reception to moan about the bad hotel , and the funniest thing was!!??? In reception area I counted 10 notices all over the walls, stating we don't hold cash in the hotel over night and our staff do not have any safe keys at night, hahaha, makes u feel really safe NOT, Basically guys your better off sleeping with the homeless, who by the way all sleep in the doorway, really mad🤪 😂 😂 😂 😂, I think the last straw was finding blood in my toilet, and my bathroom falling apart around me 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

The most disgusting so called hotel i have ever stayed in. Rooms were filthy bath and beds stained, it was like the shinning hotel. Reception staff so rude, beds were like concrete the pictures on the wall were following u down the dark corridors. Basically a homeless shelter for dogs and thats being kind. This place needs shutting down its against human rights. NEVER EVER AGAIN...... STAY AWAY
