Aceptable
Hotel grande con habitaciones cómodas, limpias y bien equipadas. No está muy céntrico y el desayuno deja bastante que desear. Intentarán cobrarte el desayuno a pesar de estar incluido en el precio de la habitación, por ello se debe pedir el buffet y no de la carta.
Moderno y buena ubcacion
Buena ubicación, rodeado de restaurantes y bares. La habitación con decoración moderna y el baño, espacioso y buena distribución. Dispone de gimnasio y piscina exterior, que por la epoca, no pudimos utilizar. El buffet del desayuno, poa variedad para un hotel de esta categoria.
Very good experience!
We arrived at this hotel for an overnight stay and received superb service...rooms were clean and comfortable...lots of dining choices in and around the hotel (although COVID has many of them closed right now)...lots of construction in the area with the stadium and other buildings. Getting to this hotel can be a bit quirky coming off the highway due to construction as well. Staffing takes necessary COVID protocols- right now don't expect the extra towels delivered to your room- plan on going to the front desk instead. Very nice amenities with gym, pool, courtyard, bar, etc.
Westin Birmingham is HORRIBLE!
Do yourself A favor and never stay here. My family and I spent 2 nights there and it was a struggle getting wash cloths and towels. They only wanted to give us two wash cloths and two towels per day. I was guaranteed a roll in bed when I made the reservation weeks prior. Upon arrival they were all out of roll in beds. The pillows were crap and after asking for an extra we were told they were out. The shower had absolutely no pressure and ran out of hot water within 10 minutes and was difficult for my kids to use. In total the room was 670$ which is absurd for the accommodations. I’ve stayed at Hampton inns for less than half of what the Westin charged and those Hampton inns were top notch compared to this crap hole. I’ll never stay at another Westin.
This Westin Went Downhill
This hotel used to be amazing. But we checked in tonight and there was a big bus load ahead of us, something relating to the Trump march. There clearly was a problem with their check in and when we asked to get checked in while they sort that out, we were met with complete contempt and rudeness. Normally this would be an obvious request, you know normal customer service? I felt like it was 1960. It was really bizarre. We won’t be coming back to this hotel, ever. It was the worst experience I ever had at any hotel, especially a Westin.
