Poor Cleanliness/Service/Quality

Reviewed 12 may, 2022

While visiting the area for four days, my wife and I had issues with the hotels cleanliness, service and quality. Cleanliness: Upon arriving in our room, I found fingernail/toenail clippings on the nightstand, which indicates housecleaning thoroughness and process standards are poor. Service: While I prepaid for breakfast, I wish I hadn't. Each of the four days I stayed I had to go to the front desk to get breakfast tickets, while they worked around other guests and telephone calls - clearly increasing process duplicity. Using the lounge services, most stock was gone with only a few items available at an outrageous prices. While wine $15, whiskey $12; and the bartender, Lindsey, had to go to the front desk for change with every order. Lindsey was the brightest point of our stay as she tried to take care of customers. At the front desk, there were dog Bowles with water and dog snack bones. I noticed that a few of the bones had been knocked out of the bowl. through the course of my four-day stay, they remained on the floor, thus, I assume that housekeeping cleaned the lobby as well as they had cleaned my room! Quality: The first night of our stay we wanted to eat in the restaurant, however it was closed and they had no chef/cook. The receptionist/clerk sent us across the parking lot to the Hilton - a sister property - for dinner. When we arrived at Hilton, we were notified they didn't have a check/cook and that only the lounge was open. Our entire stay, Holiday Inn didn't offer restaurant services, though it was still being advertised, along with the lounge, in the lobby area. My first two days breakfasts, eggs were like rubber and they only put a few servings of each out on the buffet line. They offered to make waffles, omelettes or a few other items by order. I chose a ham & cheese omelette and couldn't hardly each it. The last two days, they only had a server on staff with less items offered, though there were ample servings on the buffet. I would have rated it less, but wanted to give a fair and honest review. I come to the Tulsa area often to visit with relatives and friends; however, I will not be staying here again.

Horrifying & Disgusting

Reviewed 20 april, 2022

Long story short, 1st room so disgusting to the point the GM moved us to another room apologizing. 2nd room same issues and more. Photos do not do it justice and there was way more photos then allowed to be uploaded. Tried working with GM and care because front desk just gave excuses. Things did not get better and filed complaint with care. They stated GM (who was suppose to call me) replied to them stating she offered to change us hotels and resolved our issues. She did neither of these because I would have glady stayed anywhere but there if she had. AC units and vents both rooms caked in filth. Dirt smeared on couch. Foot prints on wall and headboard. Dirt all over walls. What seemed to be tooth paste around sink and on mirror. Smoke detector half hanging off wall. Thick rope from stained comforter coming off that could have wrapped around my daughter's neck at night. There was so much more too. 2nd room AC was not working at first till maintains fixed it. Smoke detector had bag on it. AC unit squealed everytime it cut on and off entire stay. Someone's socks and dirty throw away plates in room. One night no hot water. What smelled and looked like vomit someone tried to wipe off under couch cushions. 6 floors but only 3rd floor ice machine and vending worked. All amenities pretty much but wifi where closed. Breakfast not included with room and according to front desk not served on Thursdays either. Couldn't get money back to go elsewhere due to booking 3rd party and from out of state no where else to go or I would have glady. The only good thing about the hotel is the pleasant attitude of a few of the staff. Care offered points toward another stay but I declined. I will not do business with them again.

Hotel is lacking!

Very understaffed! We were here for a soccer tournament. 12 girls very disappointed because the pool was closed!! Was not made aware of this prior to arrival. Some families walked in to dirty rooms!! Bar, fitness center, business center were all closed! Breakfast was a joke!! I would advise staying elsewhere!

Cons outweighs pros but the mattress was comfortable

Reviewed 30 march, 2022

3 is the absolute highest we can rate our stay and that’s because the mattress was comfortable, noise level was almost zero and the elevator was really quick. It took my husband more than 30 minutes to get checked in. The man behind the desk was really struggling almost like he didn’t know what he was doing. He attempted to explain to my husband what a reservation “really” meant when he told us that he didn’t have a room for us. He continued to “look” for a room and finally found us a king suite with handicap capacity. We didn’t reserve a handicap room. This was a very poor excuse for a room, considering Holiday Inn’s reputation. Walls were dirty, tv was a challenge to use, furniture had stains, couldn’t get the shower to spray-the button was stuck on the shower head. We told the front desk about the shower when we checked out. Considering the number of hotels in the Tulsa area, we cannot recommend this hotel nor would we stay here again.

Indoor pool and enclosure was filthy. Mold and dirty. Door lock never worked. Changed to another room. Dirty hall way. Carpet had holes. Shower curtain to short. Door didn't work second time nor thru out our entire stay. I got locked out again at 1230 am to get ice. 45 minutes waiting outside of front desk in pajamas to let me into my room. Guy never apologized for not being available.
