I can’t believe I had read the reviews before coming to this hotel. But I thought I would make my own opinion because I always think you shouldn’t judge something from someone else. But I can’t believe what I found I will only tell you my honest opinion the Royal Windsor Blackpool is probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff of this hotel was unhelpful when you can find them and as for the cook and I say that with the very loose wording because once you have one breakfast you want one the next day rude. The Barr/reception scruffy smelly dirt. Now the room well let the picture tell the story
A dog house is cleaner and better to stay in

Well Well where do I start, We pulled up to the hotel and every thing looked ok, but after a headache check-in and then we got our keys for the room, ( wrong room given to want I booked) went back to reception to complain and we were told it would be tomorrow before we could be moved to another room, so we stayed in the room from hell until the next day, but the room itself ( if everything could go wrong this room had it) look at pictures, Then the next morning we got up for breakfast I paid for 3 adult and 1 kids breakfast and all you got was one sausage one bacon two tiny mushrooms ETC ETC, point is the breakfast you get is the cheapest CRAP which is not even worth giving to a dog,
Overall we paid £424 for 3 nights with breakfast, which was not even worth half that amount for you get, so to sum it up AVOID AVOID at all cost stopping in the royal Windsor, take your money and stop else were which will be cleaner and better value for money, FAULTY TOWERS HAS NOTHING ON THIS PLACE.
NEVER Stopping here Again.... NEEDS CLOSED DOWN.

Booked hotel for position and price. Not the best hotel alot off things not right but if your not fussy then this place would suit.rooms very tired hotel charges parking cost us 30 pound for the week in derelict back street with limited spaces.cleaners done a good job but can only do as much as they can with the condition of the place. desperately in need of a refurbishment good staff great position. Allowed dogs in wich one decided to bark all evening and early morning and seemed the more we complained the more the owner did it.wouldent recomend if fussy

We stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting Blackpool and didn't pay much for our room so wasn't expecting the ritz. We were just looking for somewhere to lay our heads for the night as weren't planning on spending much time in the room.
The rooms are very basic, we stayed in a family room. But found the beds and covers to be clean. The shower room is tiny and dark and in the morning it didn't have any hot water, maybe with everyone using it as we had hot water at night. There were tea/coffee facilities, which we didn't use but I was interested to know how we were going to put the kettle on when the base was plugged it at the ceiling haha (see pic). It was also quite loud in the hallway but didn't keep us awake at night. We didn't use any of the entertainment.
Couldn't fault the view though and the breakfast was fine too. It was just across from the seafront which was also a big selling point. Its also about a 15-20 minute walk to the pleasure beach but you can also get the tram.
Don't use their “carpark” either. Its a small bit of land that they will squeeze loads of cars into and take your keys and move your car to fit more in. You can park across the road and its £8 for 8 hours and you don't pay from 6pm—10am so this would do you until the next morning.
If you are looking for a lot more for your stay at Blackpool, then you have to pay the money! If you are going to stay here, don't be surprised when it is very basic.
