Not what we expect.
Stopped here while on a road trip, and reserved a “suite” to relax after a long day. A hair in the tub and a wrapper on the floor made us question the hotel’s adherence to COVID-19 promises, as did a person without a mask behind the front desk. The hot water handle came off when touched, and the exhaust fan makes the right noises, but doesn’t evacuate the steamy air. Bed, desk and other room appointments were as expected, though. Contactless check-in and check-out highly appreciated.
Way overrated reviews
Newly painted room but old worn furnishings and needs a good cleaning in the corners. How can anyone rate this place highly? And to boot, an exit door ( near first floor ice machine) was locked. an exit door! How can anyone run a hotel with such an issue? Totally unimpressive, at best a reach for an average Hampton.
Family visit
Was staying in a war zone due to remodeling on our floor. Was not revealed on the reservation website. Dust caused the fire alarm to go off early morning. Didn’t know if it was a real fire until front desk informed me it was due to dust. Wouldn’t have stayed here if had known
Not the restful stop we were hoping for...
Our family was on our way home from Alabama and stopped here for the night since I'm a Hilton rewards member. They recently remodeled and it looks like they poorly slapped on a coat of paint which is already pealing off the doors and flooring. The walls are paper thin, and the door to our room has a gap so big you can almost see out into the hall. The pillows and bed were hard and left both my husband and mine necks sore in the morning. To top it off the breakfast eggs and sausage were cold and we were down there for breakfast at 6:05am.
nice, conveniently located hotel
this hotel is located right off the interstate 74 at the edge of Bloomington. The staff was friendly- at the front desk and breakfast. The room was clean and modernized. There was a pool but it was cold and there was no hot tub, which I was disappointed in, but the shower was hot.
