I have stayed at the Westin Trillium a few times and enjoyed it every time. In fact I like the hotel a lot. This time I was surprised. My wife, 8 yearly daughter and 3 year old son stayed for 3 days in a loft suite. It was about $650 per night so we expected a decent room. It needs updating but that was ok. Our view was of a big dirt parking lot but that was ok too. When we got there it smelled like someone had left a Whopper in a garbage for a week.... again, ok. But at night... The mattress was concaved pretty bad and the air conditioner would come on every 6-10 minutes and sounded like a guy fixing his snowmobile in a garage. Extremely loud. Also, get ready for a lot of the shops to be closed in the village. Not the Westin's fault but there is a lack of staff surrounding them. This review may sound deceiving because. actually really like this hotel. I would just recommend that if you book something as a traveller do not pay for the loft. The 1 and 2 Bedrooms are amazing. Also don't get your hopes up of walking around with a Starbucks through the village because Starbucks is not open until Friday. Westin staff was very helpful and doing the best they can.

Birthday celebration at this lovely resort. The staff were great and very accommodating and the resort adheres to covid protocol. A wonderful family environment which accommodates to everyone. The rooms are clean and spacious. Great food in The Village. The Village has a variety of activities but strongly recommend purchasing a day pass early. We would love to return in the winter.
A Welcome Stay in the Time of Covid

Covid presents some challenges, but it didn't really affect our stay at the Westin. Everyone seemed to be wearing masks. No line-ups for the elevators. There was reduced seating at the O&B restaurant, but there are lots of other places on the grounds. One comment: Every institution is short-staffed, and the staff we dealt with are trying their best. So please be patient. Check-in was delayed not by the Westin staff but by unreasonable guests checking in. (Had one staff in tears.) Take-out at O&B was good. Thanks to Mofope Akomolafe for answering a couple of questions ahead of our stay. And yes, Mofope, there was lots of room in the underground parking. Our room was clean and tidy with lots of towels and all the other amenities. All in all, a most enjoyable stay.
Nice, standard Westin in beautiful setting

The hotel was pleasant and the setting very nice. Of all the accommodations in the Blue Mountain resort, the Westin is closest to the slopes. The hotel has lovely grounds, well maintained.
Our Queen room was standard, though it was called deluxe. Pluses were coffee and tea service (basic coffee maker, motel quality) with good coffee. Microwave, toaster, tea kettle, some dishes and cutlery. Robes, enough towels and good toiletries. Minuses were a very soft bed (this may be a plus for some, for us it was a back-breaker). No sign of tea or bottled water. The kitchenette sink leaked. During Covid-4th wave, there was no daily cleaning or service, but you could request it, as well as request individual items - responses were quick and polite. All in all, excellent service, considering these challenging times.
The pool facilities were not very impressive for a 4-star hotel. The gym was nice.
Overall, pleasant hotel. Once you add up the room charge, resort charge, tax and parking, the cost is pretty high. Breakfast was extra - you’re not in Europe or the Caribbean…
Exquisitely wonderful stay

Everything was wonderful during our stay. First, we were upgraded for a regular guest room to a one bedroom suite with a den. Service was fantastic, and all the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. All staff is COVID-19 careful and vigilant.
