Great holiday for the second year
Reviewed 3 October, 2019
Having just arrived back in the uk from club blue white I can safely say for the second year running we have a brilliant time. The new manager this year has done a great job with this place keeping everything running smoothly. Food is quite traditional with a bit of international thrown in. Plenty of choice. Being all inclusive at a very reasonable price it’s sad to see reviews that knock this place, the views from the beach and pool area are amazing.. The cleaners did a good job of keeping the rooms and restaurant clean and tidy, the pool and bar areas were cleaned regularly during the day which also was a big improvement on last year We are hoping to return again next year when hopefully the manager will be able to sort the lack hot water problem. Any problem or request was dealt with professionally and quickly. keep up the good work.
Please think twice about staying here, food is awful, place is run down, not great

This Hotel is a Health & Safety nightmare, it needs closing down and starting again. We have stayed all over Turkey and this is simply the worst we have stayed in. The food is awful.
Breakfast was poor... 1 Cereal, Yoghurt was not kept cold , just sat on a side in a large glass bowl, toaster was not fit for purpose, people had to keep sticking a knife in to get the bread out. Preserves were also served in large glass bowls, no individual portions. Fruit was Melon only. Hot food was tepid at best.
Lunch, Salad was ok, Food that was supposed to be hot was again served lukewarm, chicken was pink. You could have bread, no butter allowed as only served at breakfast. Only allowed milk for Tea at breakfast.
Dinner was the same.
Restaurant was filthy. Spillages on the floor/sides were not cleaned for days, staff just wiped all the crumbs on the table onto the chairs and floor and then they would still be there days later. Fruit flies on the fruit.
On the occassions that we tried to eat at the property, we found the service hit and miss. You either had staff trying to take your plates whilst you were still eating from them or they left plates on tables. You could never find a fork.
The general appearance of the property is neglected and run down.
The staff try sometimes and then just blank you others.
Drink selection is poor, Lager, White or Red Wine, Raki, Vodka, Gin, Cola, Sprite, Water, Tea, Coffee.
Dogs drank from the Water Machines and we saw the staff encourage this on a number of occasions.
No entertainment at the property to speak of.
Loud Music blaring all day, lots of swearing which i find very offensive. The Manger advised that the staff do not understand what is being sung???
Evenings the only music played was kurdish / turkish.
I pointed all these issues out to the Manager and he said that they have seen a rise in complaints from start of September, mainly to do with the food / restaurant / cleanliness. This was from all nationalities.
The German rep in the hotel had a large pile of complaints from her guests, she was also having to move guests to other hotels.
Rooms were of a very poor standard and the rooms they sell as Seaviews are really Treeviews. It's such a shame as the sunsets were beautiful. The pictures on the website of this hotel and probably about 10 to 15 years old and do not reflect the Hotel today.
No safes in room, bed cover was a thin blanket and we had one to go over two single beds. Pillows were that old that they were all pulled apart inside the pillowcase.
My husband who is 6ft2 had a childs bed, the mattress was soft and saggy.
A little disappointing with room for improvement

Upon arrival we were a little deflated with our first impressions of the Club Blue White, unfortunately the disappointment continued throughout our week at this supposed 4 star resort.
We had paid extra for a sea view - half of our balcony was covered by a huge tree so we couldn’t see the sunset on an evening. The two apartments to our right wouldn’t even be able to see the sea. The rooms were extremely basic and we had to complain about the smell of the pillows - they smelt like they had been in storage for years!! The cleaners work very hard and we had our room cleaned daily - however, the hand soap was never replaced and the shower door wouldn’t close properly, the whole side was rubber and had come off so was flapping all the time. Little things, but just by getting this sorted makes a difference.
All the staff were extremely friendly, they were very welcoming. The majority didn’t speak great English but they were always greeting us and very efficient. However they are so overworked that by the end of the day they seem exhausted and their work is then a little off the mark - wine poured into lipstick stained glasses, two different types of wine poured into one glass, using their hands to get ice cubes into the drinks.. and the Manager of this staff seems a bully to be honest - pushing waiting staff during breakfast, and at dinner one of the younger waiters having a huge telling off at a table in front of the diners - really quite unprofessional.
The buffets are well prepared, and the food is really delicious - the chef must have been up for hours preparing, but the overall dining experience was poor - sitting down at dirty tables, having to find your own knife and fork from other tables, not enough serving spoons/forks at the salad/cake buffet.
The lunch around the pool was simply awful (dry and left for hours in the heat) - we would recommend always going upstairs to the balcony restaurant.
The main issue for us was the music. We wanted a relaxing holiday, and instead constant club music was pumped through the speakers - starting at 10am with a “good morning” kids song, and then straight into the loud club hits. And on an evening, when you want a relaxed evening with chilled out music - often, kids songs -very loud - Barbie Girl followed by various kids entertainment songs. We were there for a week and only had an animation team once - this was traditional folk dancing and was a joy to watch.
This hotel was a good location, right on the beach front and a lovely walk along the front to Turgutreis - around 45 minutes walk. On this walk, we did see some incredible looking hotels, and if we stayed in this area again we would opt for one of these.
Our advice would be to not accept the transfer shuttle with LoveHoliday, If this is your holiday company - it took us just over 1hour 45mins to hotel from the airport and on the way back too - we picked people up from areas nowhere near us! We did a day trip to Bodrum then Gümbet one day and discovered a taxi back to our hotel was 80 lira so it would have been cheaper for us to just taxi to and from the airport.
Although sometimes a struggle with the language, the reception staff were extremely helpful - we managed to work out how to get a bus with their help and we booked a trip on the Captain Jack Boat through one of the reps- can highly recommend. They also picked us up from our hotel which was so helpful.
We did a day trip to Kos for £15 which we would highly recommend.. a real must.
Despite all our moans (!!) we did have a lovely holiday and really enjoyed the area and weather (quite windy at times!) ... hotel wise, just by changing little things they could make it a better resort - it’s just not quite up to the standard we are used to as an all inclusive.

Stayed here for a week with a friend. We did have a few issues with the room (balcony door wouldnt work and cold water), so very helpful man on the front desk upgraded us to a sea view - which had had water!
The first balcony was very small, only able to fit one chair on it and was sold as a 'partial sea view' whereas the upgrade had a large balcony looking straight onto the grass, then the sea.
The rooms are basic, but adequate. Watch the shower, we managed to flood the bathroom floor on more than one occasion.
Sunsets are fantastic!
Food was good - usually someone cooking at the station on the outside area - for example fried eggs or pancakes in the morning or chicken and fish in the evening. Plenty of salad to choose from and quite a few main dishes.
Tea and coffee plentiful.
All inclusive drinks - poor selection as only served wine, beer, vodka, gin or raki - not a great selection. But what we had was fine.
Activities - we only saw one evening entertainment, a couple of singers playing instruments on the first night, then nothing! Only music being played through the load speakers. We also didnt see any animation team, so no aqua aerobics etc. However there is a hut for you to rent canoes etc at the hotel.
Turgetries is about an hour walk along the sea front. (turn left out of the hotel along the sea front). The small town has a clothes market on a saturday. I was also told there is a fish market one day where you can buy the fish and the local restaurant cooks if for you!
Walk to the right for a few restaurants (didnt try them)
Dolmus - we got the bus into Turgetries which cost 6.5 TL for 2 of us. We got a taxi back that cost 30 TL. Taxis are easily identified as they are all yellow.
Trips -we did one trip on the Blue Angel boat, booked through a guy called Eddy who has a stall on the walk to the town. £20 for the day included transfers, lunch (chicken in breadcrumbs, pasta, salad and bread). 5 stops at various beaches. We thought it was good value but we could also have gone on another boat for £10! .. might be work shopping around. Reception had a leaflet on trips which seemed reasonably priced.
Only let down was that a summer school for children turned up on the 5th day - about 30+ youngsters running around. They were good in the restaurant, had an allocated area and didnt seem noisy at night - but would have been nice to know they were going to be there.
Towels are provided for the pool, using a pool card which you return at the end of your stay.
There are water slides - these were opened a couple of times a day.
Residents - not many english in the hotel, in fact, us 2, a couple and a lady - that was all!
Overall, not a bad hotel - there are plenty in the area that are much more grand, but the prices are much higher. You get what you pay for.
Would I stay again? Yes, but probably wont as there is so much in the world I want to visit.
