Great location, but other than that... go elsewhere

Hotel seems to be "luxury" but dont be fooled. Walls are thin which makes it hard to get a proper rest when you hear on the 7th floor the music from the restaurant on level 1, and your neighbours, Sheets are worned down, cheap toiletries, bad breakfast. Super small gym. The only thing it has to offer is the location. The rooms are small, tv is small, and it doesnt even have netflix. Service has a lot of improvement, except for the bell boys who are both really good. Front desk, room service, breakfast people need to be kind. They do not make any effort what so ever to help. I requested two glasses or cups and they failed to find some. They blame everything on "covid" to disguise how poor the hotel is.
The hotel doesnt have a kitchen. Keep it in mindbeca use breakfast is brought in from somewhere else, and its very, very limited. No vegan options, two cereals, pre plated fruit. The two restaurants in the hotel are not operated by hotel, and are always full. Dont expect to get a table in either of them without a reservation. Most definitely not a 4 star hotel. Needs to be fixed and mantained. Needs much better service.
AC unit is extremely loud, there is no extractor in the washroom, so the fire alarm gets activated due to steam from the showe.
The devil is in the details, and they for sure do not care about details, or basic things anyways.
Also they dont do the 72 hr room vacancy between guests.
If staying here, request a room far from elevator because rooms are literally door to door with the elevator and with paper thin walls, you will not sleep at all. Lower floors are very very dark if you get a room facing the back of the building.
Good Hotel Good Location

The hotel is located in a quiet area of Bogota. There is a Scotiabank with ATM’s across the street and the large Andino mall is a 5 minute walk. The room was very clean with enough room for the two of us. The breakfast was good with plenty of fresh fruit, you had the option of the buffet or ordering an omelette from the friendly servers. Front desk staff were friendly, courteous and helpful.
Very attractive hotel in lovely part of Bogotá.

The Bioxury is certainly a very handsome hotel, with living walls flanking the entrance, a feature fireplace in the lounge, a glass-walled pool garden and smart restaurants. The staff are helpful and attentive and the room was very comfortable.
Only two points make this a four star rating instead of five, both of which are easily rectified:
1/ I emailed the hotel three times before my arrival asking for an early check in and airport transfer and received no reply. When I arrived ahead of their 3pm check in time to be told I couldn’t get into my room til 3, I told the chap on front desk I’d emailed three times and received no response, and he just shrugged. That’s appalling customer service and a poor start to my stay. As is the fact that I then didn’t get into my room til 4.
2/ The room is dark. Even with the curtains open and all the lamps on, the room is dark, including the bathroom, which made putting on make-up tricky.
If they improve their communications, be more responsive (for example, when you’re sitting there after an overnight flight needing your room) and put brighter bulbs in the bathrooms it would be a five star rating.

Stayed here overnight. Room was 2hours late in availability. Girl at front desk said they were waiting for the linen to come back from the cleaners!. They offered us a free wine while we waited which never came. When we decided to order one ourselves it took 35 minutes to arrive. On the positive side the room was fantastic, great view and beautifully appointed.

Loved this trendy hotel in Bogota. The standard room was a bit small but overall great value for money. Great service good staff and a wonderful breakfast. Brilliant location in Bogota. I would definitely stay here again.
