Really great hotel
I was quite impressed with this holiday inn. Not only was it clean and breakfast offered great selection, the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and comfortable and I enjoyed staying here for the one night.
Second visit, getting better
Second visit in a matter of years. I believe the lobby has been pleasantly refurbished since last time and so were the rooms. Its time the corridors get a facelift now. Better experience than my first. Staff excellent, breakfast very good. Free parking. Recommended.
Nice Hotel with great staff
Clean well designed and organised rooms, small gym available and delicious food for dinner. Quite comprehensive dinner menu and wine menu. I also enjoyed great breakfast, there is even natural honey in comb. Thank you for nice stay.
My second stay in holiday inn Bologna
everything was perfect, very helpful stuff, I have been in the same hotel with my family and hope I will return there again! Good and quiet place, in 10 minutes you are in the city center be car, the same time for the airport
Terrible customer service
We booked a room for the new year's eve for four adults directly in their website. When we arrived the staff told us that our booking was for two adults and two children and we were trying to put two adults as children in the room, in addition, the italian law wouldn't allow four adults in that room. That said, we would need to pay an extra room to fit everybody (for more a couple hundreds of euros) When I showed the staff the booking confirmation from their official website clearly stating that I booked a room for four adults they got confused and said that must have been an issue with the system and then we could stay in the room. We weren't confortable about how the insisted that the mistake was ours and pushed us another room using the law as argument and when they found that the mistake was theirs suddenly it weren't important anymore. We asked to cancel the booking and then they said that they would charge us one night anyway by their booking policy. We needed to talk to the manager to solve the situation. In the end, we needed to grab all our luggage and search another place to stay (keep in mind that this was dec 30th). In the end, our family trip in Bologna was spoiled by their poor system and unprepared staff.
