Very Welcoming Hotel
I recently, in fact, this past weekend, from Saturday, February 15, 2020 til yesterday, Monday, February 17, 2020, stayed at the Welcominns Hotel in Canada. This hotel is immaculately clean!!! It has a very huge pool for swimming and a nice Jacuzzi for relaxing. I really did not have much interaction with the hotel staff, because many of the staff there speak French and very little English; however, the front desk people do speak some English. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast every morning. The breakfast was plentiful, but the food was very salty, especially the turkey sausage, and the scramble eggs were scrambled very hard!!! But other than that, there were a variety of fruits, beverages, breads, muffins, and English muffins to toast and to eat. My room was immaculately clean, and the Beauty Rest mattress, on the bed, was like sleeping on a cloud!!! Very soft and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and the room was cleaned very well during my stay. Many of the television stations are in French, but the hotel does offer FREE WiFi to the paying guests staying at this hotel, so at least I was able to watch some movies, in English, on NETFLIX. I enjoyed staying at this hotel.
OK, but lots of issues
Nothing major, but just a lot of little problems that take away from the stay. Beds were comfortable, but heat control was on or off - no temp regulation, drain was plugged in sink, but they did take care of that quickly. TV only had about 7 channels in English, etc.
A respite place
After our struggle from another hotel in Montreal, we finally find a place to rest. We only need our rest after a long day of sightseeing . The place is like a real place to unwind and relax. Although this place has no other place to order food in because it is in the suburbs of Montreal, rest is more important than anything else after a long day of driving and visiting places. It has elevator and swimming pool.
Great hotel, modern, minutes to Montreal but much cheaper than downtown hotels, minutes from the highway. Kids loved the pool and whirlpool. Complimentary breakfast is also great. We will certainly come back!
