Exe Hotel Colón

Do not trust in the staff, as they are lying. I asked an old receptionist, how much is a metered taxi ride to the airport, and he lied, that he don't know... but offered me the hotel's shuttle service (for double price). The hotel is very dirty I even saw homeless people in the public toilet. The minibar was not working, everything was hot in there. The wifi is not working properly. Positive is the price, its a cheap hotel, the location, and also the breakfast was good.

is in the city center, the pictures on the site make it seam big, and upgraded, which is all the contrary, the rooms are old and dingy, and it seams as if they don't care about their customers, we checked in at the evening and the front desk people where rude, and the parking lot is narrow, humid and dificult to go in and out. It's bad advertisement. Stay away you can get a better deal else where.

Checking in was a disaster as person at desk helped people around us while we were standing in front of him so check in took a long time. Room is old and neglected. We got a room with a balcony and there were weeds in pots with the plant roots growing into the paint, balcony furniture also broken Pillows were tiny and flat Furniture in room was worn The breakfast was the same and didn’t change in the days we stayed, pastries were nice but hot food was bland .. the toast machine needs a big clean. Pictures of this are from a long time ago as they are not what you get Management needs to do a BIG renovation, everything is old, damaged and dirty Not worth the $$$$

I have just come back from a 7 day stay at his hotel. There are a lot of bad comments on here , however i did not see that in my stay. I agree the hotel could do with a lick of paint, but the breakfast room was very, clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent , big selection of food, cakes ,breads, drinks, cereals and cooked food. The staff were very friendly and helped me out when i found a few isues. The staff member that stands out the most is Sean , he was so polite he helped me with my Spanish , he greated me every morning and whenever i saw him around the hotel. I found the cleaning to be to a good standard, my room was cleaned every day with towels refreshed. I thanked house keeping after my cleaned my room and they were so happy. I had a great stay at this hotel, i agree that there are some issues that need to be looked at. However the price , the location and the views out do the issues inside the hotel. Would i return? Yes i would?

The Hotels location is very good, but the hotel is old and rusty! When I got to my room found NAILS on the carpet and table next to the bed! HORRIBLE experience. In the morning I did not have hot water when I showered and it was freezing. WIFI did not work for me, not even once! Choose a different hotel, do yourself a favor.
