old and not maintained
We chose this hotel for its location. It's centrally located and within walking distance of many sites. The people working at the front desk were all very nice and helpful. The rooms (bedrooms and bathroom) were old and obviously not taken care of. The walls had peeling paint and wallpaper and holes where there had been something attached at one point. The walls in the bathroom had black spots near the ceiling which looked like mold. The window frames looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. When it rained there was a lot of loud dripping noise, especially from rain hitting an old room air conditioner that no longer worked but was still in place. The last day we were there the towels left in the bathroom were frayed and had holes in them.
Centrally Located Hotel
The hotel is centrally located in Buenos Aires, close to restaurants and transportation. The room was huge and with great air conditioner. It included continental breakfast. The wireless wifi was not the best. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have issues with the elevators. OK for the money paid.

The hotel is old, it needed a renovation 20 years ago at least. The floors are damaged, bathroom looks terrible (broken tiles, shower leaves the floor totaly soaked), walls damaged. The bedrooms were old apartments, with a bunch of rooms with old furniture. Pillows are disgusting as well the bedspread. Breakfast is ok, just the basic so you don’t have to look for a place to eat first thing in the morning. Service is ok as well, Argentina is not a place that you will get a good service overall. The hotel is close to Calle Sarniento, but you will have to walk at least 10 blocks to get to the busy area. I don’t recommend, for the same price or a bit more you can get something better and closer to everything.
its ok.
Not the best hotel but good to go to bed, have a shower to use and a/c, it's central you can walk around without any problems to nearby attractions, staff was helpful and guide you how to get somewhere.
Going through the motions
Came as part of a group. Half the group had to change rooms because of mold and/or bug sitings. Already written about unacceptable Internet -- desk clerk actually gave me password for hotel next door. Channel changers didn't work and front desk didn't have batteries. Bad master bed. Disgusting refrigerator. Second bedroom in a triple little more than a prison cell. Had better breakfast in a hostel. Most staff have no interest in guests. Apparently this hotel is in deep decline, our group leader went scouting for a different location for next time.
