Good location
Good location as a base for exploring BA. Friendly and helpful staff decent rooms but no views as you are hemmed in by other buildings. Excellent breakfast buffet. Easy walking distance of the Puerto Madero waterfront area with a good selection of bars and restaurants.
A FIVE STAR HOTEL WITH TOO MANY STARS
When we booked the hotel we went in with high expectations, there were 2 things that didn`t satisfy me the breakfast was too expensive $ 1.000 Argentinian pesos and that the hotel while comfortable wasn`t a modern one it was old and not up to standards. The highlight was the personnel, they were kind and charming always with a smile in their faces
Good hotel in an excellent location
We stayed for 6 nights at the hotel. The location is ideal as it is an easy walk to the Puerto Moderó and also to the attractions within the centre of the city. Facilities at the hotel are good - a spacious room, nice restaurant, lovely outdoor patio with a swimming pool - in the shade for most of the day. The water is cold but in the heat of Buenos Aries we found it ideal! The greatest asset of the hotel are the people who work on the door, behind reception and within the cafe and restaurant. They are all so welcoming and helpful. Special mention for Juan & Antoni and the other lady who works behind reception in he evening (sorry, forgot the name!). Some nice local places to eat and we found it to be a very safe area to stay.
Great Stay after a cruise
We had 4 nights at the hotel after a cruise - arrived around 10.30am at the hotel and luckily our room was available. Pleasant room overlooking the swimming pool (which, despite the publicity photo, never has much direct sunlight). Location is near the waterfront with many different restaurants locally, BA is a great walkable city and the map from Reception you can get to places easily. Their is a ‘Subte’ (metro) that is good and cheap to aid you getting around. There is plenty to do there. At the hotel the Reception staff are very helpful with recommendation for restaurants and ideas. Breakfast in the Restaurant were very good with plenty of choice. Would highly recommend.
Regal Pacific Hotel
Great location for sightseeing, shopping, dining. Room was quite satisfactory. Staff extremely helpful. The restaurant served a nice breakfast (it was busy for breakfast and lunch, that says a lot). I would recommend this hotel as a very good value.
