We were driving to Calgary for an early flight for a short trip to the States so this seemed like a fairly good option. The parking was a bit pricey but it was nice to get the extra sleep then just a short walk to the ticket counter. Room was comfortable and quiet. Would definitely stay again in a similar situation.
No cab, no shuttle, NO nonsence.

Last fall we stayed at the Marriot coming home from Mexico paying the extra for the convinience of location. It was well worth it (double the others), thus we did it again, however, I got the hotels mixed up thinking we were again the airport side of the road. Where the hotel is newer, closer and swankier!
Oh well, the Delta worked out fine. As said, in the past we have mesed around with shuttles and cabs, like a $35 fare for a 0.9 km trip?? We are done with that.
Last week found us exiting an empty airport for an overnighter for a plane to Grande Prairie in the morning.
Check in was a breeze, Michael was great. Our room albeit older, fine. Comfy King and quiet. Fearing a restuarant shutdown we found the bar open. Sat down and ordered, the ruebin for me, and a chicken sandwich for my wife, fries with mine and a salad my wife. Having just left a 9 day stint of All Inclusive, we passed on drinks, but I did notice a fine array of draft beers. Water was fine. Our meals where very good, the french fries, gastaranomicaly amazing and they arrived in no time. Not cheap, but it's the airport!
The bed had us soon sleeping like babies.
As long as these in terminal hotels can stay at just under double the price of the others, and not the, as often seen at other airports (Edmonton, Toronto)..... triple and quadrupal the price, we will be happy to .... hop, skip and jump the few feet from customs and check in.

We stayed at this hotel in the airport so that we could walk inside from the hotel to security and on to the gates. They have done some decor updates, hallways, carpets, etc. but overall it still reads a little darker than newer hotels, and a little older, e.g. the bathroom counters. The bathroom is functional, clean, in good repair, but small, and reminded us a bit of cruise ship cabin bathroom. The hotel was quiet and we had a good sleep. The TV entertainment system is basic, nothing extra. Their pool looked nice, but is open to the front desk, lobby, reception, and the restaurant, and so would likely appeal to only to kids and families.

My connecting flight was cancelled due to weather so this was the easiest hotel to stay at. It was beautiful, quiet and comfy. Staff was great with us weary travellers. Being in terminal was absolutely great as it was storming and raining that night. Great stay when you need a place to stay.
Very Tired Hotel

We stayed at this property 23 Jan 2020. After 23 Jan stay, we received an email request to complete a survey, which I completed immediately. I advised about room cleanliness, shower head issue, and a few other items in the common areas.
I did receive a response from the hotel however, 3 weeks later, on 13 Feb 2020 we stayed at this hotel again in room 508 (a different room from our previous stay). Not much has changed. I realize some issues take longer to rectify than others however, cleanliness can be accomplished immediately.
- Bed sheets don’t fit the mattress properly and were coming off the bed by morning
- Corners of room 508 haven’t seen a vacuum cleaner in some time. This was the same as the room we stayed in 23 Jan
- No extra tissues in room. Bathroom only had a few in the holder however, when asked, a new box was delivered within a few minutes.
- Bulb out in lamp on desk
I realize some of the above may seem trivial however, this is a service industry and it really is all about customer service.
Common Area Issues:
- Much of the lounge seating is absolutely disgusting... old and extremely warn. I wouldn’t even insult the people at a goodwill store by donating them.
After our latest stay, I sent an email to the individual who had responded to my survey however, to date, I have not heard from this person.
We will not be staying at this hotel again.
