Great location and service

It’s very well located and worth the money you pay. Great coffee and service. It’s a walk distance from the main road of Campos de Jordao.
They also have bicycles available if you want to take a ride around the city.

Pousada Big Bear is in an excellent location, within walking distance of everything in Capavari. The pousada appears recently renovated and is well maintained. The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. You really felt welcome from the moment you walk in the door. Breakfast is served until noon with omelettes, etc. made to order. Except for thin walls, this is an ideal place to stay in Campos do Jordao.

- Great location: walking distance from Capivari center
- Complete breakfast with a wide variety of fruits, breads, juices, omelets, "tapioca", pancakes, etc.
- Comfortable and clean rooms
- Helpful staff
- Not that cheap, but fairly priced if compared to other options in the City
I recommend the hotel and would stay there again

Excellent location (1 block from Capivari main square). They were offering hot chocolate during the day and buffet soup (with 2 kinds of soups) at night as complimentary. That was a nice surprise, because they did not advertise it (I think small actions and details show the kind of respect and care the place has with their guests). By the way, both (the hot chocolate and the soup buffet) were tasteful.
Rooms had flat scream tv, heat, hot water, hair drier, queen bed, frigo-bar and were very clean. Breakfast was very good with different types of juices, milk, coffee and hot chocolate, breads, cakes, cornflakes, etc.
Free wifi but slow.
Not a luxury place but an excellent place to stay indeed.
Good value for money

The hotel has a great location, on a rather quiet street but very close to all the main bars, restaurants and shops (Capivari district is the nicest of all Campos do Jordao, in my opinion). It´s also in the walking distance from the tourist train station and the funicular (both really fun tourist atractions). They have their own parking lot which you really appreciate, especially in a busy season. The staff doeasn´t speak much English but they´re very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very good during the week and great during the weekend (apparently when there´s more guests they upgrade the menu).
The rooms are clean and ok. It´s a very decent and comfortable hotel, as a basis for an outdoor tourism. There´s nothing there that would keep you inside for a whole day.
