COCKROACHES, VIOLENCE AND HORRIBLE
STAY AWAY from this place. We arrived with my boyfriend on Saturday to stay one night, we have been to hotels / hostels of all prices and places, but never something as horrible as this. Everything was terror, we arrived and they gave us an unfortunate room: There was NOT EVEN ONE light bulb and there were cockroaches. We went to reception to complain and ask for our money back as there's no way we could stay in a room with insects. We had paid by credit card and the employee named MARTZIA refused to return the money to us (cancel the credit card transaction), claiming that this cannot be done (in any establishment, the charges on the cards can be reversed). We kept insisting, there were cockroaches and they still didn't want to give us back the night. We demanded a book of complaints and again we refused. EVEN THOUGH IT IS AN OBLIGATION TO HAVE IT, and as we had to make the complaint for the refund we decided to document and record everything (Tripadvisor does have video upload, but there's a video of the employee threating us with VIOLENCE!). She gave us a piece of paper and said to write the complaint there, and after we did it, she broke it in our faces. A HOTEL SHAME (if it can be called that) AHI THE EMPLOYEE WAS VIOLENCE AND THREATENED US. Really a awful place that is not worth a penny. It is also very far from anything, is very insecure zone and has a brothel that generates noise all night (brothel that even has a door to go through in the hotel...)
Awful hotel, they lie about wifi and a nightclub attached blares music till 5.30am
Despite it stating it has free wifi in the bedrooms, this is a lie. Wifi is only available in the lobby. When we asked why this was advertised falsely they simply shrugged their shoulders and didn't address it. We work from our laptops while travelling so a place advertising wifi in rooms falsely affects us. We had to stay downstairs in the lobby the majority of the evening instead of the comfort of our rooms. Had the property not have been so dishonest we wouldnt have booked here. Then to make matters worse a nightclub is attached to the property which opens its doors at 11.30pm and plays loud dance music till 5.30am making it near impossible to sleep. We were on the 5th floor and the bass from the speakers was shaking our windows all through the night. There are numerous of taxis outside the hotel that charge you double than any other taxi. We were qouted $80 pesos to be brought on a 5min journey to a shopping outlet. We turned it down and hailed a taxi passing by hotel, and was qouted $40 pesos. The drivers outside seem intent on ripping off the guests. Again when the above issues were brought to reception there was nothing in the way of an apology or explanation, they simply couldnt careless. Wouldnt go back if you paid us.
Habitaciones en pesimo estado
Las habitaciones en un mal estado muy descuidadas, vidrios quebrados y me los cobraron a mi cuando yo no los quebre, el hotel me culpo del mal estado de la habitacion, si yo hubiera sido no me molestaria en quemar el hotel sabiendo mi responsabilidad pero estoy muy molesto porque el robo que me hicieron.
Bien por el precio
Las instalaciones son antiguas. El checkin fue rápido. La pileta esta buena. La habitación era muy amplia, estaba limpia. El baño muy modesto. Lo use solo unas horas antes de un vuelo. Lo recomiendo si no eres exigente. Volvería a alojarme, por el fácil acceso al centro de Cancun, a sólo unas cuadras de la terminal de buses de ADO, que te trae del aeropuerto. El wifi era lento y se podía usar en las habitaciones, cosa que otros hoteles no te permiten.
Chambre annulée à notre arrivée pour cause de nuisibles
Nous avons réservé 1 mois à l’avance cet hôtel pour un séjour de 2 nuits et à notre arrivée ... surprise..... pas de chambre disponible pour nous car il y a des nuisibles dans les chambres!!! Ils nous ont tout de même redirigé gentiment vers un autre hôtel à 20m... nous avons apprécié le geste même si c’est tout bonnement normal ....
