Value for money!
Kind of old (but well maintained) hotel located in the very heart of Cancun city. It's lacking some basic amenities (towel hangers, fridge, toilet brush) and wifi quality is quite poor at times, but everything is balanced with the amazing staff! I would return just for the people working there!! Friendly, polite, discreet, they're all a pleasure to interact with! Israel (front desk) is the best host I've ever come across and very willing and helpful even with things out of his duties. His english is fluent and his communication skills outstanding! It's very important to feel safe and comfortable, especially when you're far from home! Breakfast is really basic, but a safe choice since there aren't many other options in Cancun downtown. The pool area is really nice and clean!
Great hotel and great Staff!
Got stuck in Cancun during Hurricane, flight canceled. I booked a stay for a couple of nights at Ramada in Cancun city. Great staff! Clean rooms. I also want to recognize the hotel manager Jazmine! She was so helpful to us, and accommodated all our requests!
Excellant location
Upon arrival to Cancun, we stayed here prior to going to the hotel zone. Everything was nice! The location is in walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Fast forward to the end of our trip, we stayed here again... booked it through a third party site...they couldn't find our reservation at all!!! Jasmin, the manager, was so patient and really helped us out and gave us the same price as the website would have. I could have hugged her! The pool was nice and they served you food and drinks pool side. The beer and cocktail prices in the lobby were very reasonable. The only thing that I could have used was a wash cloth. Regular towels were provided, just not a wash cloth for the shower. The showers are big and most of the rooms come with a balcony.
Home away from home
A really nice experience for my week in Cancun. The hotel is in the city, not in the hotel zone. I prefer the location because so much is within walking distance and the restaurants are better and cheaper than those near the beach. The ADO bus station is a couple of blocks for easy and affordable day trips. Cancun is an ugly city, but perfectly safe and functional. The Ramada is a quiet oasis in the middle of it all. I was there during the pandemic and it was immaculate. Cleaning crews everywhere all the time. The room was comfortable. The two most important things inside the room to me are strong wifi and strong air conditioning. This Ramada has both. The pool area was very nice and the breakfast was good. The best part of all was the staff. They all knew me by name and were so friendly and fun, as well as professional.
Perfect for 3 nights
We stayed in this Cancun hotel during a recent 3 night stay and found it ideal for our needs. 25mins (20 usd) by taxi from airport, checkin was friendly and efficient. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Buffet breakfast is excellent. Free secure parking at the back of the hotel, ideal if you have a rental car like us. Hertz car rental office 5 mins walk from hotel. Pool area is excellent. Highly recommended
