Hotel Serra Nevada

Paguei adiantado, e minhas malas foram retiradas do quarto antes de findar a diária. Disseram que foi um engano, mas eu e minha família ficamos sem quarto com as malas no hall de entrada do hotel. Um absurdo! I paid in advance, and my luggage was taken out of the room before it was due. They said it was a mistake, but my family and I were forced to have no room to stay, and the luggage in the entrance hall. Absurd!

Well located hotel, near Canela's main street. Fair price, clean and updated furniture. Heated room and hot shower, although it's not the best shower ever. Staff is helpful and friendly. Free vallet parking and wi-fi. Small indoor swimming pool with tiny gym room with few cardio equipments. Nice room with billar and a kids area for toddlers with a small slider and games. Despite of that, there is nothing really extraordinary. Breakfast is ok, room service options, price and taste are ok. Great option if you want to have a decent quality, confort and location guaranteed without paying too much. But definitely it's not on my top list.

If the wifi was better, I would say the hotel is very good. No, wifi was terrible. Room is cosy, heated pool very good, sometimes too hot. Well located and you can walk to stores an very good restaurants nearby

The hotel seems to be build beginning the 80's and with no upgrades since there. The price was not bad (roughly 150USD/night) because the location - close to the main attractions, the rooms are fairy in space but no air conditioning, so summer time will be terrible and the breakfast is just OK. The thing that must drive your choose is if internet access is or not important for you. If it's important run... run, as fast as possible... the internet, I mean there is no internet. They advise free internet but the reality is that there is nothing to offer for free. I was needed to have a conference call via skype um the HQ in USA and was no way to do it... the plan B was mobile calling and I just afraid in check my phone bill this month.

Gostaria de fazer uma avaliação/agradecimento ao hotel que mesmo em tempos de pandemia nos proporcionou ótimos momentos que se estenderam de 19-26/12/2020, pois em cada detalhe víamos o primor e o cuidado em fazer que tudo estivesse da melhor forma possível diante das circunstâncias. Vimos o cuidado e carinho no nível de atenção e dedicação de cada funcionário, na gentileza do papai Noel e Cristal nos recebendo no café da manhã enquanto os olhos de meu filho mais novo brilhavam de alegria, enfim, momentos que ficarão marcados na lembrança de minha família. Quero agradecer em especial ao Eduardo do front desk, sempre muito educado e solícito tratando a mim esposa e filhos sempre pelo nome, a Cida e o José também no front e o Elias que cuidava de todos os detalhes no café da manhã com maestria, detalhe para a ceia do dia 25, estava tudo perfeito!
