Clean and tidy

Catchy name prompted us to give it a try. We were traveling, with no concrete plans for overnight so being unfamiliar with the area, we randomly chose this venue.
The price was competitive and the ratings moderate to high and well deserved as it was very tidy and clean on first appearance, the staff warm and inviting and the room decently clean and tidy. The one aspect of this location that gave me pause was its actual location, of the street; it is located on a dead end, poorly lit location, possible warehouse type environment with multiple seemingly uninvited guests roaming about the front of it. I didn’t feel completely comfortable leaving the car unattended outside and although nothing happened to our car, I couldn’t help but feel uneasy.
The bathroom was clean and the bed had clean sheets, comfortable enough. Breakfast was included but due to Covid concerns, consisted mainly of prepackaged items, and refrigerated goods such as yogurt and juices.
All in all, decent place especially for the cost but could use better outside lighting and attention to overall vibe
OK, but improvements would be easy

Barely three stars.
Pros; comfortable beds , good TV selection , convenient location , easy parking , dog friendly.
Cons; Atrocious breakfast ( maybe the worst I have ever encountered ) and very poor WIFI ( I gave up after being kicked off numerous times).
Please fix your breakfast it really wouldn't take much.
Cheerful Staff but Bathroom Needs a Remake

As mentioned in the title, the staff was very nice. The location was good and the price reasonable. Rooms were adequate in size and quiet. The bathroom was difficult to maneuver and a step up was required to enter the shower. The door on the shower did not close completely and was open at the bottom, causing a soaked bathmat. The breakfast was "grab-n-go" which consisted of individually wrapped muffins. The breakfast are was not clean and littered. I realize they were discouraging travelers from eating there, but there has to be a better way. I was told Denny's was next door. Also, don't advertise breakfast if there is none and/or adjust prices.
An okay stay .

Stayed one night here June 25,2021. We have stayed here before and knew what to expect. I have to say, it may be because of Covid, etc. but it has gone downhill since then. We checked in at 5 p.m. , room was two doubles, upper floor. We were assigned room 305 and given our keys. Upon finding the room, the door was ajar and the room was a MESS! All of the bedding was stacked on top of the bed, towels on the floor, so obviously it hadn't been cleaned yet. So back to the desk, given another 2 double room on the second floor (225). The room was cleaned and okay. Small. The bathroom was almost micro. No tub, just a toilet with a shower directly in front of the toilet with a pocket door (no room for a normal door). Sink and TINY vanity were in the room. Beds were clean and comfy, four squared pillows, but if you open the pillow case and shake the pillows they become regular full pillows. Room was quiet and we were on the front side of the hotel away from the traffic noise of I 81. We were told that there was a "grab and go" breakfast in the morning, which was fine with us. BUT when we got there, the only drinks available were juices and the juice machine was broken (so no drinks). No milk or anything else. The breakfast "choices" were a packaged muffin, or a 50 calorie (tiny) yogurt. That was it. No fresh bananas or apples or any fruit. No packaged Danish or cereal, etc. Nothing. So you'll have to make coffee or tea in your room. Room for the one night came to a little over $150 , but since this was a car show weekend, we are well aware of how hotels gouge people for those rooms. All in all, it was okay, and we would stay there again if need be.

A return visit usually means that the previous visit was acceptable, and so it was this time also, although the accommodations could use upgrading, Conveniently located off the interstate, this hotel is clean, offers decent accommodations, the basics that one might require, and has a pleasant staff. The hotel is a non-smoking hotel and accepts pets with an additional fee for each one. A suggestion would be to remove the carpeting and installing a more appropriate flooring that is more forgiving that carpeting.
