Motel 6 Review
Reviewed 6 November, 2018
I have stayed at a few Motel 6’s in and around the TX area. I was not happy with the cleanliness of their rooms or the customer service. I was reluctant to try a Motel 6 again, however, I am glad I did because this Motel 6 was clean and very nice customer service! I would stay there again.
Great room for the price

We got in late but the clerk was quick to respond to the bell. We got into our room with no hassle. The room appeared recently remodeled, was clean and equipped adequately. We were able to get our sleep and check out and be on our way without issue in the morning. The cost was close to $60 during an off season weekday.
Very decent people

On arrival on a weekend I had not booked but a room was available. I presented my Motel 6 discount card but the computer system for what ever reason would not accept it . The owners rang the head office who agreed that there was a valid discount to apply but there was a glitch and I would need to ring back on Monday to sort it out but could not help me ( thanks head office) after I had just spent 5 months travelling the US on my motorcycle staying mainly in Motel 6 sites. I was not impressed with their corporate office response . However, The OWNERS ( very nice couple) took it upon themselves to sort out the problem and looked after me on price for the night, they were very helpful and pleasant. Thank you very much
Convenient, clean, friendly motel

Very heartwarming welcome. The rooms are freshly renovated, in a modern, practical way. Everything is clean. There is no safe, but besides that nothing is missing. Free wifi, check in until 10pm (there is somebody available during the whole night).
We don't agree with all the old bad reviews, we think the renovation did upgrade it! We're glad we took the risk and extend our stay another night :)

-5 stars if I could. This happened 2 days ago. After working 18 hours out of town, (been up for 24 hours), my buddy and I found the closest place to sleep. We checked in around 2pm, we got a 2 queen size bed for the night. I fell asleep on the bed right away because of exhaustion. When I woke up around 11pm, I was fixing my pillow and saw blood stains on the bed sheet. I looked under my pillow, and there was more blood stains under the pillow. I threw the pillow and the bedsheets on the floor out of disgust. The next morning around 9am, I returned the card keys to the lady working the front desk. I'm assuming she's the owner. I told her about the blood stains and showed her 3 different pictures of where I found the blood. She got very defensive and said the blood stain came from me. You can clearly tell the bed sheets and pillow case was washed and put back onto the bed. I even told her, if it was fresh blood, the stains would be bloody red. We got into a heated argument. I got into my car, she followed me outside the office, mumbling something under her breathe and watched me drive away. Idk why but the motel called me about an hour later at 10:48am. I picked up "hello", they hung up.
Never, ever go to this place. This lady is rude!
