Worst experience ever
If I could get this room no stars I would but I’m forced to give it at least one star.I booked a room online with an online bank card and had to cancel the booking because I booked the wrong date. I called the hotel the next day and they said I could just pay in person. I arrived at 5pm with my friend and was asked if I had a reservation. I told him that I did but then I had to cancel it because it was the wrong day. I told them I called and was told I could pay at the site in person. I proceed to take out my ID and my online banking card and the two women just there and looked at me like I was inconveniencing them and then told me we don’t take that card. Wyndham hotels doesn’t take online banking cards. I then told him that I reserve the room online with the same card and they told me they cannot help me. I was absolutely mortified that my friend had come out of town to stay under the impression that I was going to be able to book a room. I then went down the street to another Wyndham hotel that DID take my online banking card. I thought the women were rude and I felt discriminated against. I felt that the staff was absolutely unprofessional. I give this hotel no stars and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I called to make a formal complaint and was given the number to that exact location and when I called today I was told there was no way I could speak to the owner that he did not take calls. I believe the one I talk to today and explained my experience to last nite was the same woman that was rude to me last night. If your location is not willing to take an online bank card that has verified funds in it, this location needs to state that on their website so no one else needs to have the experience I had. I make a lot of reservations for family and friends and I will never give this place a. Recommendation or one dollar of our business.
My go to!
I love everything bout this hotel. Might be in a crappy area but that place and the awesome people that work there make evvverything so ssweet. Like i said its my go to. I would recommend this place to everyone
stay elsewhere if you need sleep
Sometimes hotels are noisy. Sometimes the noise is so incessant and goes until early in the morning that you’re unable to sleep. In such cases a hotel should be accommodating- either have a noise ordinance or allow one to switch rooms. When I let type front desk know that there were disruptive guests on the floor from 8 PM until 3 AM, the front desk clerk said,”Yeah we know.” Uh, that doesn’t help. Getting no sleep for work is suboptimal and unacceptable. Unfortunately Wyndham didn’t care. The only recourse is, my company will no longer send their staff to the Microtel.
Had me a Staycation at the Micro...
nice clean room, quiet, and affordable. was just going to stay one night, decided to stay two because i had such a good night the night before. second night cost a little bit more but the rate was still doable.
Cozy, clean and comfortable
My stay was through this whole coronavirus crisis and yet they still remained humble, helpful and very attentive to any needs of my traveling party and self. They made great to go breakfast to still give something through this time when majority other places stopped.
