Not really for solo travelers and introverts
Reviewed 19 September, 2021
I scheduled this trip at a time I thought it would be pretty calm and not crowded at the resort but I was wrong. As a solo female traveler, I often choose resorts because it feels safer. But I'm also an introvert with some social anxiety and I can't handle crowds. This resort really has no calm or quiet spaces except your room which is also loud when they have private parties downstairs (which seems to be everyday until midnight). The dining times are packed and you cant get your food without running into people ( i had like a panic attack on one day because of this.) I get like one week leave per year and I just want to relax then and this didnt give me that. I rescheduled my flight so that I can leave earlier. I think this place is just for extroverted couples and families who want to sit in crowds all day.

The Best Vacation Ever
Reviewed 29 August, 2021
In the last 15 years, I spent my vacations in Bodrum, Marmaris, Cesme and Antalya. For the last 4 years, I have constantly preferred Altin Yunus Hotel at Cesme. The primary reason for this choice is the quality of the service and the hospitality of the hotel staff.
This year I have stayed here for 13 nights on the late August. The sea was perfect (ideal temperature for swimming with little or no waves), the food was great in terms of variety, taste and presentation; and the crew was always there when I needed them.
First, I want to thank Ms. Asli Ozden, Sureyya Hajjar and Ayten Kan from Customer Relations Department. I asked for their help in several occassions: I had to arrange an office with high speed WiFi for a last minute meeting, print some documents, replace an non-functional room card, even asked their recommendations for nearby activities. Every time, they were very kind, polite and helpful. Although they were very busy handling requests from numerous clients, they always created time to help me and address my non-standard demands.
I also want to thank Kemal Bey and waiters in the food court. They were always running among tables, asking whether we needed something with a smiling face, ignoring all the fatigue and sweat due to the excessive effort they were showing. It was a pleasure for me to meet them and chat them during small breaks they have. They were always kind and warm.
Last but not the least, I want to thank the Lifeguard, Mehmet Bey. I have an SCI and I am using a wheelchair. Mehmet Bey helped me everyday while transferring from my wheelchair to the wheeled-sunbed and going in and out of the sea. He was always very kind and polite.
I also want to say a few words for my fellow wheelchair users. The hotel has some wheelchair accessible rooms that you can reserve in advance. I do not know whether they are fully ADA compliant but these rooms have roll-in showers, sinks, desks, buttons and beds leveled for wheelchair users and toilets with supportive arm rests. Cafeteria and other important places are easily accessible with a wheelchair. For the beach, you can use the wooden platform to access the bar, showers and the restroom. There is a cloth changing cabinet with a wheelchair sign on it but it was too small for me to enter with my wheelchair. There is an accessible toilet cabinet in the beach as well. I could use this one without a problem. The wooden platform goes inside the beach and ends 1 meter to the sea. From there, you have to go on sand which is not possible with a regular wheelchair. Unfortunately, the hotel does not possess any beach wheelchairs or wheeled-sunbeds. I had my own wheeled-sunbed and Lifeguard Mehmet Bey helped me during transfers. If you do not have one, hotel staff is very helpful and I am sure they will develop a solution. Other than this, I do not think that you will face any serious problems.
All in all, I have had my best vacation in Altin Yunus. I plan to spend my next vacations here as well in the future. Strongly recommended.

Me and my girlfriend have stayed 4 nights. The best thing I can mention about the hotel is the great hospitality all the staff have. Especially I wanna name Sureyya and Asli in guest relation desk , they are always there to help and take care of you.
And the weak point is the restaurant and bar. They have not many choises and the quality is not that much good.

Hi everyone, we've stayed 5 nights at Altın Yunus Cesme Resort during the peak season. You are lucky if you get a room that is easy to reach! As the facility is huge, you might feel like I'm lost especially in the first days. The room was clean and the housekeeping ladies were warm and super-friendly! The thing that I don't like much about our stay is the lack of variety of food. Also, I wouldn't say the food we had was the super delicious ones we've ever tasted... Apart from that, the staff deserve the all-stars! I'd like to specifically mention Akif, who has taken care of us anytime we need. I'd like to thank all of them from the guest relations to the IT guy for their efforts.
