Didn’t seem like a Hilton property at all

When we arrived, there was no one at reception. We had to wait about a minute or so before anyone showed up. There was no warm welcome or acknowledgement of our rewards membership. It didn’t seem like a typical Hilton property at all.
It was nice, tho, that we were able to check in early.
Room was on the 5th floor. Clean, cool and modern. We faced the interstate but noice wasn’t noticeable. King bed was super comfortable. It was a one night stay so we didn’t use the kitchenette other than to out water in the fridge. Really good shower pressure and hot water. There’s a wall mounted shampoo and shower gel container. No conditioner tho. Hand soap by the sink. Towels are nice and thick. Lots of places to hang towels in the bathroom.
Breakfast had waffles, oatmeal, cold cereal, bread, pastries and some frozen breakfast sandwiches and other wrapped things in a fridge that you’re supposed to heat up in a microwave. These frozen wrapped things weren’t labeled so you had to guess what they were. The good thing is you can take stuff to your room to heat up.
Customer service at checkout sucked, She didn’t acknowledge me when I approached the counter. No “hello”. No eye contact, No “I’ll be with you in a moment”. Nothing. I felt like I was at the counter of a fast food restaurant. She continued to stare at her screen doing whatever. So I stood and waited. Finally after another minute or two, she said she’d be with me in a moment. Turns out she was checking someone in. After she handed the key card to another guest, she finally looked at me. I told her we were checking out and I wanted a paper receipt please.
It took more than five minutes to get that receipt. Her screen was giving her problems. Meanwhile, a friend of hers came in and they started talking in low tones to each other, obviously having a personal conversation while I waited. During this time, another guest was also waiting behind me. Her casual personal conversation with her friend, along with giggles and laughing, went on for awhile. I finally said that I would like to check out when it looked like her full attention was on her friend and not her job. She then told me her screen was giving her problems and she was turning the other one on. That involved more waiting. Finally she handed me the receipt and took my key cards. She didn’t wish me a good day or thank me for staying there. She just turned to help the next guest.
Great room. terrible customer service, not coming back.

The hotel itself is nice. Our only issue was that we had to move room twice due to a faulty A/C and shower door. Otherwise I’d recommend staying here. This experience taught me to check the room as much as one can, before unpacking your stuff.

First of all, the only reason I did not give this the lowest rating is because the young man was most apologetic and tried to fix the TV. This was the worst Hilton experience we ever encountered. The common areas were filthy. The pool was not in service. Neither TV in the room worked. One was because the remote battery was dead. The bedroom TV never got fixed. The young man tried twice but needed a special tool or something, so it was never fixed. I has to ask for an ice bucket. Coffee in the lobby was always very old and not very hot. Your breakfast is a joke. Poorly stocked. Had to ask for more than one cereal selection and anything other than blueberry muffins. It would have been better if you just didn't open it. And to top it off, when my wife went to walk the dog, the area to walk pets was rocky and uneven. Plus there was a mockingbird that would attack my wife. I had to go out with her with an umbrella to fend off the bird every time. The stay was not worth half the price I paid. My wife and I do not travel much, but we have always used Hilton properties. I am a Hilton Honors member. I use my Hilton Honors AMEX card. I fully expect some form of recompense for this stay or I will not use any Hilton properties in the future. This place was not worthy of the Hilton name.

Could’ve dumped full trash and got dirty linen out of bathroom. The manager and the lady at the front desk weren’t very friendly at all. I was very impressed with our stay we have stayed here before and had a great experience not sure why this time was not the exact same experience.

Excellent Customer Service, Great Staff, The Cleaning Crew On Point, Rooms Are Very Clean I Have No Complaints, I Will Definitely Return To Home 2 Suites Here In Charlotte When I Come Back For Business. Thanks Much
