Bueno ...
literally ew pt 2

Repeat of everything the original "literally ew", plus we were extorted to pay $86 in cash at 3 am by the night manager, after he finished his dinner. They did have an ATM is the Lobby to help you make bail, I mean the bribe...I mean the kick back. Thankfully the "manager" could make change from his pocket.

our flight got cancelled and this was the hotel we were given by american airlines. the whole hotel smells like cigarettes and not the most child friendly place. the voucher had given us two rooms and the four of us had to share a room because we didn’t feel safe. the lock on our door was broken so all of our luggage had to be in front of the door. it was also very loud but did quiet down during the later hours of the night. it was a place to stay, but i would have rather stayed in the airport. just pay for a better hotel instead of getting a voucher.
This hotel is now a Quality Inn

Horrible experience. My room was good and clean, but the hotel in general is loud, dirty and a tad dangerous. Apparently, the government rents rooms from them for the homeless. It appears most of the first floor are people who found themselves homeless for one reason or another. I chatted with a few of them and most seemed like good people. But some are loud, menacing, and have rowdy friends over. In my 3 days at QI, there were both physical and verbal fights. The first night, 2 police cars at the hotel, second night 3 police cars, third day 2 police cars, and 3 cops. At least it quiets down late at night. Parking was tough sometimes as the homeless guests sometimes have a lot of “visitors.” Not worth it, there are other hotels in the area for about the same price.
BEWARE!! Bedbugs are everywhere

Stayed there last Monday night when our flight was cancelled. Free shuttle from airport was the only good thing about this place. Walk in and it looked like a 1960 hotel and smelled bad.
We were put in room 119 and that room smelled just as bad. Went to bed and in the middle of the night I felt something. Jumped up and realized I was being bitten by bed bugs. Pulled the pillow back and there they were. Slept the remainder of the night in the chair.
In the morning when we checked out I told the front desk lady and she acted like she didn’t care and obviously I had not been the only customer that ever complained about it. So obviously they do not care.
In hindsight we should have just slept in the Charlotte airport floor. The picture is from 2 days later. Looks like 6 or 7 separate bites and 1 on my neck. This place should never be allowed to accept customers till their issues are corrected. This is a health hazard!!!
FYI on the wall they show a inspection grade of 97. Not sure how they ever got that high a grade.
Finally, avoid at all cost!! If I could give this place a negative ranking I would.
