Pre early morning departure stay
Hotel was neat, and clean, and the parking while we were gone was great. Park Your car right here while out of town, inside of at airport..The shuttle to and from airport was very reasonable and easy..
Pleasant and Comfortable Stay
We had a room on the upper floor which was comfortable, clean and well apportioned. One very minor complaint was the poor quality of the bedding, mainly the mattress cover and fitted sheet which would pop off the corner of the mattress every time I would roll over. The breakfast was typical, hotel standard which was acceptable for what we expected.
Very good hotel with friendly staff
I still rated this hotel 'average' because that's what you get; very nice & helpful staff, clean rooms, decent work out area and pool, copious towels and toiletries. Bed was just OK. not bad, but when compared to the following night at a Courtyard by Marriott, it was clear these beds were 'fair' at best. Again giving it average rating because that's exactly what it was.. I'd stay there again.
Good Breakfast, close to the airport and easy access via Rt 33 to downtown
We had Rm 124, on the first floor, near the main lobby and pool. The hotel offers a good breakfast, and the menu items has some variety to it, ie., in the egg selection. A complementary copy of USA Today is provided (a great benefit). Hotel is trying to help our planet, bath supplies are now in bottles in the shower and the make an effort at recycling. The grounds are well kept up and very attractive. They allow dogs, wish that more Marriott properties did that. Would be useful if Fairfield or Courtyard allowed dogs. By the way RM 124 faced away from the airport an we were not bothered by airplane noise.
Booked this hotel through Priceline a few months prior to our stay. We called to ensure we could have two beds as we are a family of four. We called again the day before our stay to again confirm that we would have two beds, we were assured by the front desk upon pulling up our reservation that we would have two beds. We checked in around 9pm after a long day of driving. Went up to our room to find one king bed. The room itself was so tiny, having two kids and two adults in there just wasn’t feasible. We contacted the front desk and were told there were no more available rooms at the hotel. We were then eventually moved over to the Fairfield across the way. Although the amenities seem to be similar (minus kitchenette, microwave) the Fairfield is older, not nearly as nice as what we thought we were booking. It’s also about $50 less a night. Very disappointed in the Towne Place after assuring us they could accommodate us. I guess beware if you book on a third party website, not sure why the Towne place sells rooms to these sites if they intend to treat those guests as lesser.
