Fantastic wedding at the hotel
I cannot thank Alexa and the staff at the hotel enough for our perfect wedding. We were originally getting married at the hotel in March but due to lockdown this was not possible. The hotel was brilliant. No problem moving the date as many times as we needed with no stress. We had a small Covid secure wedding in December and it was simply perfect. The food was amazing, guests still comment on how lovely the canapés were and how much food there was. Big thanks to Patrick and Doreen who truly went above and beyond to help us during the day and keeping our guests happy. The bridal suit was lovely, clean and huge with a separate living room which made getting ready super easy. Even with the pandemic there's nothing I would change about our wedding day.
Fabulous stay...
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel,we had to rearrange from our original destination Edinburgh so it was our 2nd choice but we were won over by amazing staff, fabulous food and great spa treatments...cannot recommend more highly.
Spa day
After a lovely 2 night stay, with COVID restrictions in place, could not fault at all, finished our stay over in the spa, our therapist Cathy gave us a warm welcome and excellent treatments, absolute credit to your company, only downside the pool was a little cool, we’ll definitely be seeing you in the new year, thanks again craxton wood
Need to look at covid policies
Unacceptable that on check in I was given a room NOT cleaned as dirty, wet towels on bathroom floor and a bed which had been slept in. All other hotels I hve stayed at throughout the pandemic have had some system where you know the room is clean BEFORE entering. I understand mistakes happen but with only 3 cars in the car ark I fail to understand how this can happen. It was made worse by receptionist saying all rooms had been checked..... really???? On a plus it meant I found a hotel not far away with temperature checks on arrival, a one way system in place and much more welcoming - I know where I will return to
Lovely Hotel
Lovely Hotel with great rooms and Leisure/Spa facilities with nice food at dinner and breakfast although portions could be bigger and the wine is overpriced. Really friendly staff with covid procedures in place
