Thunderbird Lodge

Canyon de Chelly National Monument offers spectacular geological formations and steep-walled canyons meeting the mysteries of the preserved ruins of Native American villages. The historic Sacred Canyon Lodge is the only accommodations available within in the monument. The Lodge sits on the site of an 1896 trading post. Its pink adobe construction is reminiscent of ancient pueblos. Dining is located in the original trading post and offers both continental and Navajo-style dishes.
