By far the filthiest, most neglected property I’ve ever seen rented.

This is exactly the kind of motel that makes “Karens” the world round recoil in horror when you tell them you are staying at a Motel 6 off the freeway. Lesson learned. All good google reviews aren’t to be trusted, but you can bank on the validity of this bad one.
Top ten worst things about this motel
1. Dirty walls, doors, curtains, blankets, and floors.
2. Brown smears on multiple walls in both the restroom and the main room.
3. Broken security latch on door which left as many questions as to what happened as it did hours awake to think of the possibilities.
4. Burn holes in blankets and heavy cigarette smoke smell.
5. Crayon and pen drawing all over the walls and door and clearly no attempt ever made to even wipe them off.
6. Exposed sharp rusty screw ends on a broken soap dish INSIDE the shower which looked beyond DANGEROUS.
7. Filthy toilet paper holder
8. The room was so close to the freeway that I could hear easily not just the bass or the music, but I could hear the lyrics being sung on the car stereos in traffic.
9. The mattresses were thin, terribly uncomfortable and appeared to have been bought back when music was still bought on cassette tapes.
10. I could hear every sound in every room around the room. To be clear, I could hear the exact topics of conversation covered and how many strokes it took to finish.
I was in need of a room for a quick overnight stay in the area and saw this place on Google with great reviews.... but when i arrived I found it to be the filthiest place I’ve ever seen rented. Ya got me fellow contributors who claimed this place was
“...Well maintained and cleaned...,” and another that falsely claimed, “...how clean and spacious motel 6 was. You really can't hear neighbor's in the next room. The bed was comfy & clean.”
Y’all... There are plenty of others places nearby in much better condition for a comparable price point. Don’t stay here. Don’t let your loved ones stay here. I wouldn’t even recommend this one for a quick stay with a paid companion. You both deserve nicer.
Not what it used to be. Stay away!

Upon our check-in we immediately noticed trash strewn about the grass areas and dozens of cigarette butts scattered about the walkways and lawn. There were plastic bottles, food scraps, wrappers and various other gross items strewn about the grass areas outside all of the rooms.
In 25+ rooms there are families living at the property (on a permanent basis) that clearly do not care about the other hotel “guests”. In the evening, furniture from inside the rooms had been moved out to the walkway and lawn area. From 7:30p until well past midnight there were adults speaking very loudly and children running about screaming in the common area. On both sides of our room were adults smoking in non-smoking rooms. I expressed my displeasure on the first and second day to the front desk staff, but nothing changed.
As for the room itself, the floor and the bathroom clearly hadn’t had a deep clean in a long time. We used sanitizing wipes on all the hard surfaces before settling in. In hopes of getting the room well cleaned on our first night, I left a tip for housekeeping. Imagine my surprise when the money was taken BUT the room was NOT cleaned. The only thing we got were new towels left on the bed.
We had stayed at this property several times in the past, so were SHOCKED by the change. It was our favorite hotel because we travel with dogs. Prior to this stay, we were able to safely walk dogs at any time of the night or early morning. It's also near several great food choices. Previously, the rooms had been very clean and the grounds well maintained; not any more. This is such a disappointment. I will not be returning.

I recently stayed at the Motel 6 Claremont, a hotel I have frequented a few times a year for the last few years. They are pet friendly and have a beautiful grass lawn and are very conveniently located. I always looked forward to the visit because of a few eateries within walking distance and just the pleasantness of that huge grass lawn.
It seems that recently the Motel 6 was acquired by a family and about 30 rooms are used as residences for relatives. They have turned the lawn area into their own private trash can. Cigarette butts, candy wrappers and even empty pizza boxes are tossed outside onto the ground.
The people next to me were smoking in their non-smoking room. They were loud at 1:30 am.
Our room was not serviced.
It has become an unpleasant place to stay. Will I go back? I honestly don't know. Maybe I will give it another chance, but unless something changes it is unlikely I will do so.

Crazy place, very unhelpful staff and don't expect to a pleasant night. When we checked in we were told about the rowdy Romanians who were occupying the bottom floor. There was no real attempt at accommodating us to a quieter place. it's cheap for a reason.
Best to Keep Away

I can't believe I was stupid enough to stay there and expect a good night sleep before an important event the next morning. I think 3 or 4 rooms around me were occupied by the same family acting like wild animals...shouting and slamming doors till 3 am easily. Also, as if the noise from the freeway was not bad enough a cockroach was stalking my feet at the wash basin in the morning. Oh, and when someone uses the water in an adjacent room at 2am don't expect to stay asleep. Never again...
