Great hotel. Stay away from wending machines.

Reviewed 19 september, 2022

The hotel itself was great and I especially appreciated the complimentary airport shuttle. My only (and it’s fairly minor) complaint was that the vending machines in the hotel kept taking my money and not actually doing anything. I paid for 12 items and actually received four, which is 1/3 of what I bought. I later confirmed this by checking my bank statements.

Very convenient place to stay

A bit noisy but nice rooms and its all fairy new. The service is excellent My wife liked the scent of the towels so that’s a very good sign We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back on our next visit sometime this winter

Avoid at all cost!

Reviewed 2 july, 2022

The check-in was chaotic: even though I had already checked in on-line, it took 25 minutes because the Receptionist kept stopping to help other people who were interrupting (instead of controlling the situation). I was then sent to a room that was already occupied (which could have been a dangerous situation, as I was trying to enter someone else's room). When I finally got to a hotel room, it was dirty and there were hairs in the bathtub. In addition, the photos are misleading: this is a grimy, industrial hotel full of sketchy people. I chose this hotel because it was affiliated with Melia, which is a good chain of hotels. But Melia needs to take their name off this horrid place.

Terrible

Reviewed 14 june, 2022

The airline put us up here after canceling our flight. It’s an awful hotel. The room had four single beds, none of them comfortable. The air conditioning worked but made a terrible smell. It was so bad we paid our own hotel and went somewhere else. Ugh.

Has a lot of potential but the room was not clean

Reviewed 12 june, 2022

I usually don't like to give bad reviews to places, and in this particular case it is very hard because the place has potential, it has a great location and some of the staff was friendly, but the room was not clean and one of the beds was totally broken. Definitely not what you would expect from a Melia property. Beginning of June, Rolling Stones concert with the family. Called the place in and ask if it will be possible to do an early check in. They say they would do what they can and seems like they are quite busy. So far so good. We get to the hotel, do the check in and as soon as we get to the room we noticed all marks, dents, and what could be coffee in the best case scenario in 2 different places in the walls. The TV doesn't seem to work, smells a little like feet (sometimes the air conditioning could cause this but at the moment the AC is not working ) and it is possible to see some wood pieces from teh bed. Immediately went to the front and let them know, they tells us they will send someone to check and fix and maybe even change the room if possible (not likely, apparently it was quite booked). Decided to go out and buy some things on the nearly supermarket hoping that someone will have taken care of the issues but we had to ask them a couple more times. When the custodian comes by is obvious he is overworked and not in the best of moods. We show him all the issues and asked us what do we want him to do (as in a little condescending). After some conversation things get a little better and we found out the bed has a piece of the frame broken, and he also sees and takes pictures of all the dents and specially the brown splashes on the walls (wanted to make sure I don't get charged for damages). He also tell us the hotel is fully booked and they are understaffed. Went to the concert, came back and parked downstairs and that was it. The next day we went for breakfast that was included and the staff was very friendly and the food was good and a wide range of items. There is also a great pool (even though it was very hot as in 42 celsius inside, probably not the best during a pandemic with lots of kids around). We do the checkout and while trying to pay parking the machine is not able to connect to the internet, so back to the front desk where i was able to pay (wifi was down). In summary, great location if you are going to the Wanda stadium area (took us 9 min to get back to the hotel after the concert, reverse commute to Madrid), some friendly staff, breakfast was great and the pool has potential, but the room was quite disappointing. There are other hotels nearby that might be worth considering
