Great find with amazing views

We stayed here only for one night whilst visiting relatives nearby. It was a fantastic find. We are not golfers but the views of the greens are amazing. The room was wonderfully decorated to make you feel comfortable and cosy. The bathroom was huge and very luxurious. The staff were fantastic at both check in and check out. We had breakfast surrounded by wonderful views. The serving staff were all very helpful and polite. There was only one negative to tout stay and that was the temperature of the room. It was very warm even with the window open but we will definitely stay again.

Absolutely brilliant hotel from check in to check out. Staff were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Big shout out to the bar manager sorry can't remember her name but she is a credit to the hotel. Fantastic value for money. Would definitely recommend and return.
Loved it.Probably in our top 3 golf breaks we have done

4 of us came here on the 1 night deal with 2 rounds of golf, dinner and breakfast. We didnt want the dinner because we was already going for a pre-booked meal in Crawley. And the lady on the phone swapped the dinner for lunch which was really nice apart from mine was wrong. We had sat down for food at 12.30 and my friends did come out about 30 minutes after that, still plenty of time to eat it for a tee time of 1.46 of so i thought.Because mine was wrong i had to wait another 20 minutes for mine.Dont get me wrong,it was very nice but i didnt have time to finish it.To be fair the lady in the restaurant let us have our drinks for nothing because of the mix up.The room we had was just off the courtyard and reminded me of something out of a holiday camp from the 80s but i loved it.Room was big and beds was really comfy. We had a swim in the morning before our breakfast and that was nice, makes a change to actually go somewhere like this and all the facilities are open, steam room, sauna, spa pool, etc. The course itself was really good. The greens were top notch, but chipping for us was brutal, like chipping onto glass.Make sure you bring you short game,we didnt lol. Also a big thanks to the staff there, especilly the girl on reception who looked like a young Drew Barrymore, really helpful and let us check in at 12,both rooms was ready.Would 100% come back here to the same set up or i would love to book one of the lodges there but i think you can only book them on a minimum 3 night stay,i might get away with it on a 2 night stay with the mrs but not 3.There was a wedding there when we stayed but it didnt bother us,infact gave the place a better atmosphere
Beautiful surroundings, decent room

The room is well decorated and feels like home. It was a bit warm and there’s only a 1 inch opening in the window to catch a breeze. You can of course take it off the safety latch to get more air, but I wouldn’t have felt comfortable leaving it wide open all night as it’s ground floor facing the car park- it’s a choice between temperature and noise. It was 16 degrees the night we stayed and was up to 23 during the day. If you are not able bodied or require a wheelchair, the “accessible” room (Room 1) has an awkward toilet layout. You can’t get to the toilet without hitting your knee on the sink, even if you’re a petite 5ft1. I can’t imagine how a taller or larger framed person would feel, let alone someone with accessibility concerns. But I’m able bodied, so perhaps it’s perfect for someone in a wheelchair/walking frame etc. The room was quite spacious. The tea/coffee making set up was inside the wardrobe. There was a good variety of tea coffee and biscuits. The room had a hair dryer, iron/ironing board and body wash. There was no shampoo conditioner or lotion In the bathroom. The hotel promotes their use of Elemis products, so I wrongly assumed there would be shampoo and conditioner at the very least- so make sure you bring your own. We were given a health form to complete on arrival If we wanted to use the pool/spa.The pool, changing room and sauna were very clean. Everything felt very new and well looked after. The steam room was out of order. The pool was quiet most of the day (a Monday) and got much busier at 4:30 with many children fitting in their swimming time before the 5:30pm cut off for kids. The pool was open to children all day until 5:30. Even with 15 people in the pool at 5, it still didn’t feel cramped, even though the pool area is smaller than it appears in the images online. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was nice and the grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed our stay but did feel it was overpriced by comparison to other similar venues we have stayed at.
Girls chill out
