When we arrived in Cusco, our driver recommended Siete Ventanas. It was the Best recommendation we received while in Peru. This hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff was accommodating and the location was perfect for a visit to Cusco. Breakfast was excellent also included eggs to order and breads made locally. The front desk staff was very professional. They really came to our rescue and helped us out when are plans kept changing. It was a pleasure to stay here. Highly recommended.
Good location, ok hotel
We were here for 4 nights, and im not gonna lie if given the opportunity we would have stayed at a different hotel. We had the junior suite and when we got to the room it was horrific. It was very uninviting, dinghy, and just weird. The bed was up these steep stairs, the room was dark and we felt very disappointed. We immediately when to the front desk and told them that was not the room we had seen on the website. The man at the desk(guido) was very nice and started moving things around in the computer and was able to move us to the only suite in the hotel the next morning. This room was a lot better. It was like night and day. Still, even with the nicer room i would opt to stay at one of the nicer hotels in cusco. The tv would constantly lose signal. The Wi-Fi was non existent. It would work for about 2 mts. at a time. They sell water downstairs but none in the rooms. If you're going to be in cusco, you're going to be tired from all the walking and sightseeing and you're really going to want a nice comfortable room and bed to relax in after a long day. Im sorry to say this hotel isn't it. If you can't get the 1 suite in the entire hotel i don't think you'll be happy.
I've lost respect for the trip advisor award of excellence after staying at this hotel. BAD HOTEL!!
READ THE GOOGLE REVIEWS! Don't be fooled by the overall good rating, I assure you the good reviews are from friends of the owners. From the start this hotel was a disappointment, the front desk staff literally made fun of us and joked right in front of us (they must not have known I understand Spanish). They lost my reservation and it took over an hour to get properly checked in by the kids that work here. From there it didn't get any better, we booked a premier room with City view and balcony only to be given a tiny room in the back of the hotel with small beds. I had to argue with the still laughing and joking staff at the front desk and prove to them with emails from booking.com to get the correct room. The laundry service is a joke and the staff can't even be bothered to inform you there are laundry services right next door after refusing to provide this simple service that booking.com claims this hotel has. The wifi was better in the Amazon jungle, our television didn't work, the shower doesn't operate properly, there is no heat in the bathroom or bottom level of our room so I had to heat it with the hair dryer (toilet so cold you couldn't sit, it gets below freezing in Cusco). The door barely latched let alone locked. Despite all of this (I'm not a picky traveler), the staff is what put me over the edge to write this review, very unprofessional, immature and slow. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone even though it's a beautiful building and a great location. For the price you can get so much better in Cusco!
Jhossimar the man!
Before we get into details I want to point out the great service from Jhossimar. He was at the hotel from sunrise to sundown and was always available with a big smile on his face with what was requested of the hotel. The hotel is nothing fancy and the feeling of the rooms is of stone walls, a replica of what you see on the streets. However what was extremely surprising was the level of cleanliness in the rooms which is important for myself and any traveler I would say. The service at the Front Desk from the evening agent is subpar as his customer service isn’t the greatest.
Comfortable, great location and very reasonable price.
We found this hotel when we were desperately looking for a replacement for our original reservation to another hotel which is very very hard to access. The hotel is located in the historical center, very easy to access to any attraction in Cusco city, almost beside the main square. Clean, comfortable, very nice stuff and reasonable price.
