Romantic and quiet
The place is nice for a short stop(we stayed one night). We went around the property. It has a lot of nice picturesque little corners. The breakfast was tasty and the service was excellent. One minus is the smell of vinegar everywhere. I guess they clean with it. But if you are not a fan of it you might find it a bit annoying.
Family reunion - December 2019
The hotel is beautiful. It was immaculate and prettily decorated for the holidays. Because the restaurant was closed for renovations, the menu was a bit limited, but everyone was professional, friendly and helpful. The mattresses could be a bit more comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay again.
Exceeded Expectations
Very nice located country house hotel. Nicely decorated rooms with modern and functional interior. However the unique selling point, were food and beverage, providing outstanding quality. We had a five course dinner which really exceeded our expectations, especially the lamb was fantastic. The breakfast buffet next morning was also outstanding, as mainly regional products were served. The variety on bread, juices and sausage was above average. Also sparkling wine was served which made the start of the day real easy 😊 If going to Darmstadt you should definitely stay at Jagdschloss Kranichstein!
An amazing stay at the beautiful place. A hidden paradise.
Stayed at the hotel 13-15 of September for a friends wedding. The hotel, the location is a hidden paradise. What a beautiful place! The area is fantastic! It is so peaceful and relaxing. And it is only 20 min drive from Frankfurt. This is going to be definitely the place to return for me and my husband. The hotel is clean and modern. All the stuff was very kind and helpful. Many special thanks to Ms. Cornelia at the reception desk who moved mountains to help us contacting the sound company that the hotel works with and being so effective and quick. The company which works with the hotel was just great - the cost of the equipment we had requested was affordable and great quality. Mr. Thomas from the company who delivered the equipment to us and set it up with us was also very helpful, kind and effective in setting everything just right. Mrs. Schmitt was also very helpful and kind taking care of all the details for the event. We were just blessed to meet such a kind, wonderful, helpful and warm stuff of the hotel. Also, Mr. Zouhaier who took care of us late night when we had a late dinner after our performance - he treated us in a very kind way and made us feel very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with the great variety at the buffet and cozy atmosphere. Especially liked the bread, cold cuts and scrambled eggs - all were delicious. Ordered espresso coffee and it was just great! Loved the natural juice next to it. Everything was just perfect throughout our stay. Every detail counts and much appreciated. This is gonna be one of our favorite destination to visit again when traveling to Germany.
