Easter Sunday overnight stay

Reviewed 22 april, 2022

My wife and I traveled from western super mare to dawlish due to a nice day in weston and overnight stay there , booked late, traveled by train We arrived early at the railway but the room was ready so we checked in and dropped our overnight bag into the room. Room was clean and comfortable and staff welcoming. close to the front and all amenities.

Lovely local pub

Reviewed 20 june, 2021

We spent a weekend in Dawlish and visited this pub a couple of times. The staff are so friendly and the service is great. Highly recommend stopping here for a pint in a traditional pub. We loved the personalised t-shirts!

Old school pub with a modern twist to the menu!

Reviewed 3 may, 2019

Stopped in a this small old style pub on a recent visit to dawlish. The place has a very warm and traditional feel to it which is matched by the friendliness of the staff. The menu had a very modern twist with a “street food” element alongside the more traditional pub grub. The crispy chicken tacos were amazing, served with skin on fries and a dressed salad you certainly get your money’s worth. The ambience is relaxed, the drinks varied the option of a game of pool or chance to sit back and listen to music on the juke box. For a small place is certainly has lots to offer. Will certainly be making this a regular pit stop.
