Flamingo Inn

My daughter and I took a Uber from the airport to motel. Check in went very smooth. We stayed in room 205, the room was clean which was my main concern. The room was average but the fact the hotel is directly on the ocean was perfect. We planned a short getaway from the cold/ snow in NY. We did leave the do not disturb sign on the door daily but the house keeper always asked if we needed anything, She was very polite! Prior to leaving NY , I purchased the Voltran bus pass online and the stop was right near the motel which helped us get downtown to the eateries and shops. The motel does not have a lot of restaurants within walking distance beside the Daytona diner. This would not be a issue if we had a car. Overall very nice trip in the covid pandemic

Due to the covid19 pandemic, and the lockdown of most flights out of Australia, we had to cancel our 6 week trip to America 😥 We were booked in for 3 nights at The Flamingo Inn beachfront, and they have refused to give us a refund or credit. Under the circumstances this is very dissapointing. This year we thought we would like to visit biketober week, in Daytona, as we have already experienced Sturgis 😊 it's very exciting and something to look forward too, Under circumstances out of our control and from all of our non-refundable, cancelled or changed accommodation bookings, you were the only establishment who has refused.

The staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean and provided a home feel. We will definitely stay at this place again when we go back to Florida. Our daughter had a beach wedding everyone there made us feel appreciated.

This place is great. Small and quiet. The rooms are somewhat upgraded and well kept. Kitchen with cooktop and apartment size refrigerator. Housekeeping does a great job with the place. The woman working the front desk at checkin was very nice. We got a great deal on this room for a week. Nice pool area. It’s a small simple place and that’s what we like. All rooms are side view so if you are close to the road you don’t have a view but second and third floor closer to the beach and you get a great view. We have the end room closest to the beach and It is just like being in a beachfront room. Very nice pool area. Motel is three levels with no elevator but it’s not bad at all. We can be from our room to the sand in about 30 seconds. We love it here and will not stay anywhere else when visiting the area. What an awesome gem! It’s a small motel...maybe 15 rooms. While this is an older place, it has many room updates! I’d stay here again without hesitation. Staff was very nice. Bed was super comfy! Great location on the beach. The ONLY set back is there’s not enough chairs around the pool, but with that ocean who needs a pool 😁
