Family Trip
Decided to take the family for an overnight trip to the Daytona Beach area. It was a weekday, which meant it was not crowded at all. We had the room with the bunkbeds for the kids and it was perfect. Due to Covid the restaurant was closed so we brought in Chinese. It was nice the room had plates, silverware etc.... a bonus. In the morning we all enjoyed their homemade donuts...another bonus! The pool was perfect for an evening swim with the family and in the morning we went inside to the whirlpool and indoor pool. Over all... it was a good time.. you get the beach...the out and indoor pool and your only 5 minutes from the Daytona Beach Boardwalk area. We will be back again.
Fun Girls Trip
Four ladies spent a long weekend at Perry's (first visit) and loved it. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom had toiletries. The kitchen had a microwave, 2 burner stove, small fridge and coffee pot- along with dish towels, plates, cups, pots, pans and silverware. The pools were great, grounds clean and the beach and views were amazing! The real gem of the place seemed to be the employees - the House Man, Joey, was friendly and kind and went out of the way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was so pleasant and we enjoyed him, and appreciated his service tremendously. Secondly was Greg, the bartender at the Tiki Bar. What a sweetheart! Always a smile and those little buckets he puts his libations really hit the spot!! A big thank you to Perry's and Joey and Greg for giving us a fun escape from the reality of hellish 2020! Great location
We were more than pleased with our stay. We were in the North Tower which is where the rooms have been remodeled and they are beautiful! The staff was always helpful and friendly. The only negative comment I would have would be the beds are a little hard, but other than that everything was 100% perfect. We WILL RETURN!!
Short one night get away
My boyfriend and I decided to get away for a night. We chose Perry’s because I had stayed there several times previously . I understand that the weather was horrible, and due to that everyone was in the indoor pool and jacuzzi . For the first time ever we had a garden room by the hotel and jacuzzi . The jacuzzi was filled with 75% young children . Jumping in and out. There were constant jumping into the pool as well. Some parent supervision , some not . I’ve had children and have a young grandson, so I am not a person who would not prefer kids, but it was out of control. We made the best of the trip . Was woke up at 8 with people in the pool . Spoke to the front desk. The lady was not friendly at all. She did credit us $28, but it was confusing. When asked , and my boyfriend said he did not understand , she grabbed the paper, then explained. It was an inconvenience to know what he was being charged. I’ve never given a review , but it was a big disappointment .
Horrible experience
We have stayed at Perrys many times and have loved it in the past . Not this time. The place is still clean and nice however everything else is not. It is 2am as I am writing this and can't sleep for the second night in a row because of a truck rally going on. The music is so loud and amped up that it sounds like it is in your room and we are on the top floor. People screaming, engines revving and racing up and down the street. Front desk doesnt really care when you call. I get they can't control when these groups come however when I made these reservations I made sure nothing like this was going on. It was apparently a rescheduled event. They should email their guest when this happens so we can reschedule. There is zero respect for other ppl. I feel horrible for ppl that have kids with them as this is supposed to be a family resort. I am also upset at the lack of following Covid policies. They say on the website that they do but they don't. No one at front desk wear masks. Restaurant tables are pushed close together and are 100% full. Between that and so many ppl crowded together at this rally Daytona Beach will be helping spread this virus. Good job ! We will not be coming back
