Even locked down, it’s still stolen.

I should’ve paid more attention to the signs in the parking areas saying lock up and hide everything in your vehicle. I had a cable locked Yeti ice chest in the back of my truck stolen and I was parked almost directly in front of entrance. This is a HUGE problem at this location. Sorry Marriott but I’ll be staying else where from now on.
Too much going on for my taste

When I say too much going on for my taste I mean construction and parking lot wise. The hotel is under renovation so none of the common areas outside were open during our stay and even if they were you would be looking at the backside of another hotel. Also, there is a Cracker Barrel and a side street located next door so everyone cuts through the parking lot of Fairfield to get to both of these places. There is a constant flow of traffic going through the parking lot so people with little ones beware. I also did not like the fact there was no chair for relaxing located in the room. A desk chair was available, but not a comfortable chair. Also, there was no hand soap, lotion, and very little toilet paper in the room and I had to request these items. All the people at the service desk in the morning were extremely nice, but late afternoon not so much. Breakfast was a plus and handled extremely well. Slept well, but could not sleep in late due to the hammering outside the room.

Nice hotel after the needed renovation. Very clean. Check-in was quick and the clerk said thank you for being a gold member. Staff observed Covid protocols. Nice room and everything worked fine, including the Wi-fi. $89 total price was a good deal. No complaints. Looking forward to maybe someday getting breakfast back to "the old ways."

My family and I stayed overnight. We chose this location primarily because of the price and Marriott COVID policies. It’s going through a renovation right now that appears to be leading to a nice upgrade. The service was a little lax and in need of training. One glaring issue is that the breakfast area attendant was only wearing her mask under her chin while serving guests.

Pros: Customer Service, housekeeping availability (if desired), individually packaged cereal and breakfast sandwiches for breakfast and hand sanitizing stations in lobby and at elevators.
Cons: Hotel difficult to spot(surrounded by businesses and it is behind another hotel), it is under construction, masks not enforced(about half of people not wearing and arguments ensued because of it) hallways smell awful, pull out couch (stained and mattress looked gross), bed lumpy(did not get a good nights sleep) spots on floor sunk in when you step, phones not working, spotty WiFi, broken shower head and broken loose tiles on floor in bathroom.
**I did call front desk and let them know about the phones and shower, they sent someone to our room to fix it, I was uncomfortable with the person being in the room. He did wear a mask but I felt the hotel manager should have moved us to another room or given a discount. Suffice to say, I don’t think we will be staying there again.
