Great relaxed location and a hotel & staff to make for a wonderful stay

The whole experience from arrival to leaving was great, wonderful team of staff looking after the customers and making the customers feel welcome and a relaxed environment, especially given the current covid restrictions. Set beside the local parkland which provided a lovely pre-meal walk as did the rest of the village, great setting and well looked after. The rooms were very comfy and clean. We had pre-booked for evening meal and it was a really tasty meal (I had the daily special of whole lemon sole which was falling off the bone and so moist - not overcooked), again the dining room was laid out with covid safety in mind so helped provide a relaxing surroundings. Breakfast the next morning was the same attentive staff shown to our table and covid friendly note for the menu (1 small note would be to include within the note a "please turn over to view the breakfast menu" - as we read the note without lifting and only when Connie came back to takke our order was she able to tell us to look the other side, ) And whilst I've mentioned our breakfast waitress Connie (tennager of the 80's) wonderful customer service and personality to match - keep smiling & dancing connie you deserve it and you're a credit to your trade. To sum our stay up - We will definitely be back to this hotel.
Friendly hotel in a charming town

This a friendly hotel in the charming town of Eaglesham. We got a warm welcome from the staff. The room was very nicely decorated. It was a little warm but I asked for a fan and they provided one swiftly.
The food at the hotel was very nice. Good menu, reasonable prices. Very nice beer garden for the summer weather. The only thing I would improve is to leave more time between courses, we felt a bit rushed.

Lovely meal and brilliant customer service. All the members of staff we encountered are an asset to the business!
The restaurant area is very modern and although we did not use the outside area it looked like a lovely place to spend an afternoon!
A very fine experience

After eating in the restaurant a couple of times and finding the whole experience very satisfying , we decided to have a family dinner there to celebrate my wife's birthday. As there were going to 20 of us we wished to find out if they could accommodate us. We made an appointment with Carolyn and were very pleased when she offered us a private dining space which fitted the bill perfectly. We were then given some menus to make our choices from . The meal was excellent everyone enjoyed it . I do like a hot plate and this was rhe case and has been the case everytime we have eaten there. My wife and I had booked a room for that night and we found the superior to be very comfortable. Breakfast was also another triumph, served by very efficient, pleasant staff and of course the excellent cooked breakfast was served on a hot plate. All in all a very pleasant experience for my wife, me and all my family, I would thoroughly recommend this fine establishment no matter what your requirements are.

Well located hotel - close to Glasgow without actually being IN it. Pleasant building, pleasant village with shops and sufficient amenities. Hotel itself is well looked-after generally and the COVID stuff about no room services, no toiletries etc isn't so much of a pain that it ruins the guest experience.
All the staff we dealt with were great - friendly, helpful, nothing too much trouble. We asked the housekeeper for a change of towels and fresh ones were delivered, and the old ones removed, within 5 minutes.
Food in the restaurant was good-to-very good and again the staff excellent.
Only complaint was a bad case of water hammer (vibrating pipes) when the toilet cistern in our bathroom refilled. It takes a couple of minutes to fill, so we were regaled with this dreadful sound for that time. And so, of course, were the rooms around us. Reported it to reception within a hour of arrival (Saturday) and again on checking out (Wednesday) but it seemed to be news to the reception desk on the Wednesday. Hopefully they'll get it fixed, but meantime if you're offered room 30 (the one we had, with the fault) or room 29, and maybe even room 31 the other side, accept only if they've had a plumber fix the problem!
