Dont

My fault. Even though it looked a tad sketchy, I ran my card and visited the room. The key card had gunk on it, the room had an unpleasant smell, minimal care really. It is a dive. So 5 minutes from running my card and reporting back I said it was not for me. The girl at the counter acted as though I said something impossible. Couldn't refund without the manager. OK?. The manager will call you. Oh. Later, no manager call. We call them. The manager said we would take 20% off. I wondered to her out loud why 5 minutes would cost me $100 dollars. Can we actually talk to said manager? Yes was the answer but still no call. These people are unethical.

Great Staff

Reviewed 28 june, 2022

We arrived after check-in time, but our reserved room wasn't ready. The friendly girl told us they were short-staffed, and the hotel had been full with a conference. We had to wait about 45 minutes for our room to be cleaned. They located a staff member and she went right up to do our room. We are Choice Diamond members and we were given an extra welcome gift to make up for the inconvenience. The room was nice, with comfortable beds and warm comforter. The room smelled fresh, but later we started to smell something like cat urine. It got so bad that we had to open our windows to try and dissipate the smell. The toilet didn't flush, but the clog finally cleared after I flushed it three times in a row and then it was fine. The HD TV was huge, but it wasn't programmed properly. It was on HDMI mode, and I couldn't get it to go to cable. I finally had to call the front desk and she came and fixed it. I made the mistake of turning it off, and when we turned it on again later, the same thing happened. We fianlly managed to get it to TV mode, but this should be fixed so it defaults to cable. When we packed up to leave the next morning I noticed old make-up sponges and other things that were under the vanity To be fair, the maid cleaned the room quickly, so we could overlook that. Breakfast was nice, with a good selection of items, including Almond Milk, which I've never seen in a hotel before. Chris at the front desk was super friendly, and helpful with directions back to the highway. My only concern was that there was no hand sanitizer in the breakfast area. We had to keep going back to the lobby desk for that. Overall this hotel was pretty good, and we would stay here again.

Warning Do Not Book

Reviewed 28 september, 2021

Property does not go over details upon check-in they just tell you to sign the credit card charge form. Beware, do not want this to happen to you! Charged $250 pet fee. Do not own dog. Did not bring dog to hotel. Did not occur to me to ask about pets since I don't have one. Maintenance guy racist “you people” “people like you trying to get away with everything”. Dad was given 72-hours to live, just hours after checking in, I was inconsolable. Friend came over with his dog to try to help me. Dad passed 48-hours later. Rooms are not clean. Sent the hotel a picture of towel after wiping the floor in front of the sink. No response from property. Attempted by e-mail, phone, and 5-property visits.

Housekeeping was awful

Reviewed 1 september, 2021

Rented 2 rooms for a Saturday night: Room 1: Hair in shower drain, bra left on desk chair Room 2: Literal garbage (straw wrapper, paper, tooth flosser) on bathroom floor. TV had been disconnected from cable by previous tenant. Front desk staff is very nice and helpful, but a complimentary bottle of water doesn't make up for unsanitary conditions. I understand everyone is short-staffed (which is why I'm not complaining about the 2-hour wait for one of my rooms to get clean linens) but garbage, old lingerie and hair are disgusting.

Great place to stay

This Clarion Pointe is a very hospitable motel for a stay. Traveling alot I stay in many hotels/motels. The staff and management are by far some of the nicest and professional around. Customer service is a top priority for them. Breakfast and great coffee are a bonus.
