My family and I have stayed in La Quintas over the past ten years and this was by far our worst experience. The bathroom was covered in mildew, the walls were filthy, a roach was on the wall on our last morning, our lock didn't work properly, and we discovered the side door to the building didn't lock. But the worst part was the up-charging for our pets. We booked knowing it would be $20 per night for our two dogs, not to exceed $40 for our entire stay. This was stated on their website and is Wyndham's corporate policy. Instead they charged us $80 for two nights. The receptionist was incredibly rude and told us she didn't have contact information for a manager when we challenged her on it. By that point it was too late for us to find a new hotel. If you have pets you are better off paying more for a cleaner and safer place.

It was decided everyone would stay here while we were in town for a soccer tournament... This was my first time staying at a LaQuinta Inn and it will be my last. As soon as we checked in, I started putting our clothes away and immediately found a dead roach in the dresser drawer. Later on I saw another one in the light fixture in the bathroom. The next day I found out two families in our group checked out due to bed bugs and another family switched rooms because they had bed bugs too. The pool is very small with no room for non-swimmers to sit. Our second night there the chlorine was so strong, no one could stand to swim because their eyes were burning. I went to the front desk to purchase some snacks from their store and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to show up and take my money. I would recommend you go to one of the other hotels right there if its the location that you need.

This hotel is a nice newer location. The rooms are clean. The cleaning staff does an excellent job. The breakfast is good. You will enjoy your stay. There is a convenience store and liquor store right across the street. Good eating restaurants and shopping within 3 to 4 miles.
Lack of general maintenance

Holes in the wall in our room behind the door that had a failed repair. Paint peeling from apparent water damage inside the window frame. Tiles missing in elevator. Just generally lacking maintenance.

Looks nice online but it’s all fake. Looks nice from outside you walk in lobby nice but once you check in make your way to elevator you will eye what I mean. Floor in elevator all cracked and coming up. No elevator inspection sheets. Carpet all stained. The room I reserved was for a double two beds. The room a/c didn’t work they switched us to a king one bed for three people. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. La Quinta. Wyndham hotels needs to wake up and conduct inspection this hotel before they put there name on it.
