Great Staff, terrible breakfast, and it's a run down hotel. Should be a motel.

It is close to the consulate and able to do everything within walking distance. Rooms are motel quality but clean. Breakfast is terrible. We tried it twice but not worth it. The eggs and toast are the only tolerable thing. Cereal tastes like of brand generic and the milk is served hot. Some people may not mind but I can't eat cereal without cold milk. We have a suite and able to heat up food & keep cold items in the mini fridge. Totally worth the upgrade. Grocery shopping helps us save money, avoid that nasty breakfast, and the ability to eat in our room at any hour of the day or night. We have paper plates, napkins, cups, andplatic utensils. The area is very quiet and safe. We see a lot police and makes us feel better about waking around during the day. If you want to explore or eat something other than what is available within this perimeter I suggest you do your homework first. We have left the property a few times but won't drive past 8 minute radius from the hotel. There is a Walmart 5 minutes down the street but will need to drive there. The staff has been very kind and we love our cleaning lady. Her name is Dulce and she has been amazing. I feel that this place is a gold mind because it's always full due to most guest coming here to be seen in the consulate. The place needs a lot of upkeep needed and the carpet has a strong humidity odor. Make sure to bring Lysol disinfectant to help reduce the smell. Our cleaning lady has made the smell diaper when she is working but if anyone else gets to clean our room we resort to Lysol. We hardly drive our truck so bring comfortable shoes to do a lot of walking. You will average $30 for dining and if your willing to order to go then it will save you some money. There is a Wendy's next door and the food is good. The restaurant next to the medical center behind this hotel has reasonable prices and is delicious. Wish the hotel was in better condition but other than that, it has been great. We have been here 11 days.

The hotel was close to the hospital where we saw our dentist. Very nice staff. Good Breakfast but it is a busy place in the morning. Hotel was also very close to lots of stores and places to eat. Price was very reasonable.

Left Me Stranded

Reviewed 8 july, 2021

I made a reservation here a couple of days before and when I arrived they had told me that they canceled my reservation because I had not confirmed my reservation even though when they emailed me (in Spanish btw, what if I didn't speak English) I had confirmed that I still needed the room. They emailed back saying to call the hotel, which I did and the first time they hung up on me and the second time they didn't answer. They said because I got there after 6:00 PM they canceled the room so I was left stranded in Juarez. I had no car so I had to walk to nearby hotels until I found an open room which was double the price I had expected to stay. All this on the day of the booking! How can I be checking my email if I am traveling?? Stay somewhere else. This place does not care about customers. Just how many rooms they can book.

Average hotel close to consulate

Reviewed 27 june, 2021

This hotel is a 3 instead of a 2 only because of the proximity to the consulate. The staff were all very good but that's where the positive traits end. The smell that previous reviews reference is real. We stayed 2 different times on 2 different floors and it was there. The hotel is old and musty and I would not pay the asking price for this hotel except for the location. The breakfast was a joke. The hotel was full but they only had 1 employee working the breakfast which caused long delays for eggs and beans. No fruit, no bread, no cereral...just eggs and beans. They made an effort to clean the room each day that consisted of making the bed, changing the towels and spraying something all over the carpet....yet the carpet was clearly dirty and never vacuumed. If you want good location with fridge for consulate business, and can lower your expectations this is not a bad choice....otherwise look elsewhere.
