Sandi at the front desk provided the level of service you’d expect from a way pricier hotel. Her upbeat attitude, knowledge of the area, and attention to detail made me excited about my stay before I even finished checking in.
Best Western Plus Philadelphia Convention Center Hotel

The hotel looks newly updated and remodeled. Everything was very clean. The room was very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Went above and beyond to assist us with all our questions.
You have to park at an off site lot about a block away. Just clarify with the hotel first exactly which entrance to use to go into the lot. The one entrance was closed and we did not realize there was a different entrance to use until we called the hotel while waiting by the entrance that was closed.
Horrible hotel - avoid

Tiny room, barely enough space to walk around the bed. Drawers and fridge door bumped against bed when opened.
NO parking whatsoever for guests; had to cross 6 lanes of traffic to pay $30 a night to park in a random empty lot. Supposed loading zone in front of hotel, IF you could get into the space, is on busy street. The sort of thing where you take your life in your hands to just open the driver's door.
Dingy, outdated - there are too many better hotels in this town.
(I am a BW Reward member. This is worst one I have ever stayed in.)
Good value. Good location

The hotel is very close to city hall, china town and convention center, making it a walking friendly location. However, the rooms could use some upgrading. The carpet could be cleaner and some rooms dont have real windows. Staffs are very nice and friendly. Overall a good value if you just need a short stay in the city
Good for the least expensive hotel I could find.

We went over Labor Day weekend. We didn't realize it, but there was a music festival going on, which made all hotel rates very high. BW was at the low end of the range, which still seemed pretty high to me.
Location is at the north end of Center City, on the north side of 676, We parked in one of the lots right across 676. Location is walkable to most of the tourist sites, if you are willing to do extensive walks. Building was neat and clean. The block that it's in is somewhat run down.
Our room had a "fake" window; the window looked out onto an enclosed lighted space between rooms and the exterior wall. This was ok, but I would have preferred that the light be dimmed to reflect time of day.
My wife needed a hair dryer, and we had to be persistent to get one.
Breakfast was not as good as at other BW hotels, even recently. There were a couple of juice varieties, coffee (although apparently no de-caf), some microwave breakfast sandwiches, some muffins, and apples. Adequate, but don't come here for the breakfast.
