Horrible customer service and room condition

If I could give 0 star, I would. Horrible hotel condition, and rude and unprofessional customer service. This is by far the worst hotel we ever stayed.
My husband and I arrived at the hotel around 7pm on Friday for a 2 day stay. We were given a hotel room on the first floor when he specifically requested no first floor on the reservation. The hotel desk manager was present at the time during our check in. Not only did she not apologize, she became defensive and told us she didn't see that on her system, and that was the only room available per our request. As we settled in room 101 and I went to take a shower (while my husband was out grabbing some supplies at Lowes), the bathtub just would not drain. Nasty water was coming back into the bathtub, which posed a health risk. I had to jump out of the shower and requested to change room. Unwillingly, the front desk clerk gave me room 401, but at the same time warned me that I might get charged for both 101 and 401 since we used the room.
We moved to room 401 after my husband came back from Lowes. As you can imagine, after unpacking, packing, and unpacking again, that was about 10pm and we were soaked with sweat. As we walked into the room, it smelled bad until we turned on the AC. My husband went to the bathroom to try to take a shower. This time, nothing but scorching hot water came out of the shower head no matter what setting we tried. This time, my husband went down to the front desk and there was no other available room. We went to sleep dirty, tired, and angry.
We decided to check out of that hotel to find another one. We approached the front desk day shift clerk and explained our situation and ask for the manager for a refund on our horrible experience. She told us the manager won't be in until 11am and gave me her card so we could call.
I called the manager, Ayda, around noon and explained our situation, she told me the best she could do was to give us 30 dollar discount because we did stay in the hotel. Not once did she apologized for our horrible experience at the hotel, she was non stop cutting both me and my husband off when we were talking to her. Ayda also told us we should have waited in the hotel until she came on shift so she could call maintenance to fix our room. She and her staff were unapologetic, defensive, argumentative, and rude. We have been staying in Marriott exclusively for years and are Sliver elite members. Not once we were treated like such until now.
On top of that, the General Manager Serena Ogden was supposed to call us yesterday to address our concern, but she never did.
Nice hotel. Great staff. Road noise.

The hotel is nice. Rooms are decent size. Mini fridge in room. The bathrooms are good sized with adequate counter space. Everything was clean and worked. Location is easy access with lots of restaurants nearby. It is right off the highway, so road noise is audible throughout the night, but it isn’t too bad.
Worst stay ever

I was here for a family baby shower. Have stayed several times the last couple years for family events but this will be my last. This hotel has gone so far down hill since my last stay. It was drug infested and not Marriott standards at all. I am an elite bonvoy member and always stay at Marriott do to always being known for their integrity of being a nice clean hotel. I noticed the rayes were quite a bit lower this time and now I know why. As long as this type of clientele is here I will not be back. I’m shocked Marriott would allows such activities as one of their hotels. Unless you are looking for a party hotel stay clear. Drugs prostitution and loud music

Breakfast was unorganized. Long wait. Kids running around without masks on. Packed with people waiting for their food with NO MASKS. Looked like a cheap hotel and not a courtyard. If you are looking for a clean and quiet stay look elsewhere. I have never had such a bad experience at a Marriott hotel. Loud music coming from rooms.
Stay anywhere else.

Asked clerk to do two simple things, which she did not. name ida or something. and she was officious and disrespectful, and arrogant. overall bad vibe . curtain dirty shower dirty Was checked in for six days.
