We picked this motel while on the road looking for a place to stop and sleep. The staff is very nice. It’s an outside motel. The decor is very 70’s, but very well kept. A very nice retro decor that was very clean. Our room was divided into 2 rooms: a small living room with the TV and the large bedroom with a spacious bathroom without a TV (which ww prefer). I was surprised by how large the room was. Overall a positive experience.
Loved my stay
I called to book my stay and I got all my questions answered by Carol, she had amazing customer service.. When I arrived I had a 2 bedroom suite, the room is so spacious and the private bedrooms have King beds with a tv in both rooms..to be honest it was like I rented a 2 bedroom apartment for the weekend with a full kitchen and a table that seats 6.. it was perfect! Friends and family could now visit me!! I was also told that pets are welcomed with a small fee they have small yards as well.. They have a light breakfast in the morning as well. Thank you Carol for all your help with planning my stay I will be back!
no maintenance on weekends. Floor flooded by garden sprinklers.
Staying in the lower floor room 117 and our room flooded because the sprinklers spray water so close to the sliding glass door. We told the clerk at the front desk and was informed there is no maintenance on the weekend. We also were told house keeping would shut off the water at night. Nope, 2:22am and our floor is soaking wet yet again. They offered to move us to another room on the 2nd floor but we've already got ourselves settled in. We will see the discount offered on check out. Hopefully 50% off. All together, our group has 6 suites from 1, 2 and 3 beds available. On a side note, our room has no fire alarm and no C02 alarm either. California regulations require fire alarms in every room. This could get them closed down if not a huge fine the least. With the spider webs where the alarm was, looks like they've been missing one for SOME TIME NOW! Also told front desk on the night we arrived. Again, no maintenance on weekends and if there was a fire, we would be in trouble. HOUSEKEEPING, the ladies seem to not really care. I asked for more towels and a bed changing. They said ok but brought only 2 towels for 3 people needing new. Didn't turn the bed as asked. The blankets feel rough and not soft. I'm just not so impressed with this place. Until the fix the issues, I will rate them a 1 star and say, stay at Motel 6 for a better night stay. Pictures will not load. But I did show them to the front desk.
With some updating if would be much better
Tried this hotel for a change while visiting family in Fresno as it's near their home. We won't be staying here again on future visits. Hotel is in dire need of updating with paint and new furniture and carpet cleaning. Breakfast was ok though when we were there no staff ever refilled the supplies/food.
Not the best, but could be better easily
Rooms are big, more than can be used or required, wasted really, however it was a nice hotel 10 years ago but no one has spent any money on it and it is now in dire need of up grading and a damed good cleaning, most of the equipment, ( TVs, hair dryers, pool side furniture ) all need replacing or sorting out, plumbing and general maintenance needs sorting out. Most guests make complaints about one thing or another, shame really as it could be really nice place.good breakfast though.
