The hotel was so clean and nice. The pool was great. Justin from the front desk went above and beyond to ensure our two rooms were together. The gown is new and meir in great shape. It was right across from Roosevelt field mall.
They even had a wheelchair for our use to get a family member to and around the mall with ease.
We will be back!

I was there for a long weekend and forgot my wallet, silly me! However, the Assistant General Manager Ryan gave me some of the finest customer service ive ever experienced! He was on top of the whole situation, even personally storing my wallet to ensure its safety. Ryan then called me every step of the way to ensure my wallets return and inform me along the way. Kudos to Ryan, he is absolutely amazing! Try this hotel out!

Residence Inn never fails me, and the Garden city site is no exception. The room was meticulously clean; kitchen large and well stocked with dishes, glasses and cutlery. The bathroom was huge! Bedding comfortable. I will stay here again. Kudos to Allison Mitchell, Ryan and Justin for such a high level of service.

this hotel is gorgeous every inch of this place is well decorated and clean as a whistle the king suite we stayed in was the size of an apartment! That being said ,i stayed at this hotel two separate weekends in a row, because I have family in long island, there is a red roof inn not a quarter of a mile away for half the price but i chose to stay in this hotel due to the indoor pool, due to covid restrictions we were required to reserve the pool for a cetain time,we reserved the pool for 8pm becuase we spent the day and the beach and then went to dinner, we went to the pool at 8pm sharp we started to unpack our swim bag whn a group of kids and parents came in from 1 entrance and 2 couples came in through the other entrance we were being flooded by people, if this wasn't bad enough the pool was so cold we couldn't go in, we live in upstate NY so we are used to cold swimming pools, but this was freezing, their may as well have been a layer of ice over the water ,now as I said before we could have stayed in the red roof inn for half the price but we chose this hotel thinking we could go for a relaxing swim, but the staff agreed to drop the pet fee of $150 to make up for this but that wasn't the difference between the price of the Marriott and the red roof inn, the pool should hopefully have been fixed by now so I hope you decide to stay
Weekend parties, unhelpful staff

We stayed here for a weekend. Friday night, the neighbors started being really loud around 2 AM, every time we were about to call the desk, they quieted down for a few minutes and then would be noisy again until about 4 AM. This seems to be an endemic problem at Residence Inns. We mentioned it to several staff members when they asked how our stay was, and they told us they have weekend security patrolling, I don't know how such security could not have noticed. No one really offered much sympathy, even offering an item from the little shop they have would have made us feel like they took it seriously and cost the hotel nothing.
The other issue we had was that we were originally supposed to check out a day later, but we left a day early instead. We asked for a late checkout and were told they were too booked to give it to us. We pointed out that until five minutes eariler, they thought our room was booked for the evening, so they couldn't possibly have a guest expecting it early that day, so could they at least give us a 2 pm checkout (as platinums we should get 4) and neither the desk clerk, who didn't really know what he was doing, nor the manager he called over to help was wiling to acommodate us.
We go to Long Island regularly to visit family and next time we will try another hotel.
