Super Resort for a Relaxing Retreat
We enjoyed 11 nights at the Yoga Amertham resort. The staff were outstanding, so friendly and helpful they made our holiday. The rooms are large and quiet. The balcony looks out over a steep gorge to the river. Upstream is a volcano visible most mornings, and directly across are traditional rice fields. Every morning it was magical sitting out there for breakfast. The pool was a relaxing place to be around. We loved walking into Gianyar with its Ikat factories and showrooms, and terrific food at the night market. The hotel is located well away from any of the regular tourist haunts and yet only 20 minutes from Ubud. The staff arranged transport whenever we needed to travel to Ubud, Semapura, Sukawati and Kintimani. We couldn't have asked for anymore to meet our relaxing holiday needs.
Hidden Gem
Beautiful remote, hidden location, I had a beautiful room overlooking the river - when you sit out on the balcony, you feel at bliss view of river below-. Great breakfasts . The best thing though was the staff - welcoming, friendly, professional - Highly recommend anyone to go here - you will not regret it. So different, away from all the busy life, totally remote. Also has yoga retreats going on. Do sign up! Great wifi, food, pool and staff.
Tranquil and relaxing
We really enjoyed our stay at Yoga Amersham villa. It is situated high above a river gorge with amazing views across to traditional terraced rice fields, with numerous beautiful birds and butterflies to watch. The hotel has a tranquil relaxed feel, helpful staff, beautiful gardens and a lovely pool. There are many tourist attractions close by and the busy Ubud is only 30 minutes away by car. However it was nice to be situated in a real Bali village where temple offerings are still being handmade right on your door step.
Stunning hotel
What an amazing place this is. Rooms where fabulous, lovely pool and stunning views over the valley. Staff where friendly and helpful with breakfast brought to the room every morning. Each room had a kettle with tea and coffee, bottled water, fridge, safe, air conditioning and most importantly comfortable beds. Great Wifi all over the complex made it easy to stay in touch with family back home.

What a find! The resort is within really peaceful environment, which is also very beautiful. We were waking up to birds singing every morning. It is very close to waterfalls, hiking areas and only a 20 min ride into the beach or Ubud. Breakfasts were delicious and we could choose between Asian and Western, always plentiful with fresh juice and fruit, bakery basket etc. The staff at the resort were amazing and always went above and beyond for us. We'll return!
