Worst services ever at restaurant

Nice hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, but we have waisted our time waiting to be served at restaurant. We took some beers at the bar, eat dinner and also had breakfast, and we had to wait at least 40 minutes to be served and get our order. It’s not normal for hotel guest to request a menu or get coffee several times and still wait 30 minutes to get it. The staff blame the fact that they are missing employees because of COVID, but they are all disorganized and not experienced. As we waited so long(2 hours to get our breakfast, 2 hours to get our dinner and 40 minutes to get our beers at the bar, I must say that I didn’t have the time to do the outdoor activities, which we paid for. The hotel is well located and have nice views, but the fact that we lost so much time waiting to eat made our experience horrible. I would’t recommend you go to this hotel unless they have change the management and offer a better experience.

I don't golf but it looks like a nice course. Beautiful clean lake, nice views. Staff very friendly and warm, but this is Quebec so this is normal.
However, I left a day early and asked for a refund due to a lumpy soft bed that resulted in a terrible sleep and a sore back. It is a real stretch to call this a four-star hotel with such old and uncomfortable beds.
Second, it advertises a fitness centre but the room was bleak, i had to call someone to access it despite being mid-day, and the exercise bike I was told they had was a small, manual thing that looked as old as the hotel -- ie half a century. The hotel should display a photo of this gym so people know what to expect, but I'm not surprised they'd not feature it.
I would agree with others that the breakfast -- part of the room charge -- was ruined by these phoney packaged eggs. They looked gross and i made the mistake of trying a mouthful. It turned my stomach. It was so bad i couldn't touch the sausage that was next to it and covered with fake egg bits. Truly bizarre decision. They can cook bacon, sausage and home fries but require eggs out of a package? A truly bad management decision to presumably cut costs.
Beautiful golf course views

We took our granddaughters for a fancy outing here. Rooms are roomy and modern. Great views of the golf course. Covid 19 measures in place.
Dining was hit miss. Our fish and entrees were very tasty and we'll accompanied with Vegs. The kids choices are basically pizza or pasta. Pizza crust is so so. Pasta looked good but only two choices of pasta.

This hotel was built over several years and ready for occupancy in 1992.
Unfortunately it declared bankruptcy, was closed down and fenced in. The magnificent adjoining golf course survived and continued operations. Nevertheless, it was always sad going to the club house and seeing the fenced in hotel slowly deteriorate.
Happily, new owners renovated the building, invested a few million to get it back into shape, and reopened for business a few years ago. You can see that the the repairs are ongoing.
The building still has a way to go before reclaiming its former glory but once, and if, it does the prices will probably escalate.
In the interim deals can be had for a fine stay.
The ski hill will probably never reopen.
Great snowmobiling holiday!

Wonderful welcome, room was spacious, very clean, very comfortable bed. Next time I would book closer to the spa and pool on the first floor as we spent lots of time there. We had a snowmobiling package which included a four course meal which was delicious and presented beautifully, breakfast was also included and was amazing, very friendly and helpful staff. We had booked massages but there was a little confusion with that so confirm all a second time. We did end up getting massages and if you can book Sophie Lefebvre do it, amazing! The hot tub needs some repairs or updated. Overall we had another great experience here and will be going back again next winter.
