The hotel is situated approximately 20 minutes from the centre of Guanajuato and around 30 minutes from the international airport. Irapuato is about a 35-minute drive away and visitors can reach León from the hotel in around 40 minutes. The hotel was built in 1982 in the style of a hacienda and was renovated in 2006.
